Lugging garbage to an offsite dumpster is not appropriate given the cost of the property. Plywood as a means of making the couch usable is a failure, and the loveseat is equally uncomfortable. These changes would certainly have made our stay even better.

The house was clean and comfortable. It was set back in the woods from the highway providing some privacy, and it was quiet. Kitchen was well equipped. The one thing I didn't like (although it is written in the contract) was that we had to take our trash back in town to dump it, which was a hassle. We were supposed to take recycles by the Cascade office, but there is actually a recycling center on the way to the trash bin, so we just dumped it there and saved some time. Other than that, this was a very pleasant stay.

The cabin was great! Private and peaceful location. We were surprised that the cabin did not have a washer or dryer considering it was a full house and expensive rental. My biggest complaint with the rental company is that we have to remove the garbage and recycling. If you travel with a full car, kids, pets, etc., just know you’ll have to add your garbage and recycling. On top of that, the garbage is in one location while the recycling you have to haul to a different location 18 miles away.
