Ilios is a beautiful 3 bedroom 3 ½ bath home with a private pool. This lovely home is a modern interpretation of a Greek Villa, combining the grace, beauty, and colors of classic Mediterranean architecture. With the newly installed air-conditioning in the main house, as well as having solar panels with a battery back-up system in place; a guest is assured they will have all the comforts and conveniences of a present day tropical home.

The centerpiece of Ilios is the open courtyard, sundeck and pool which are surrounded on 3 sides by separate pavilions. The pavilion on the right of the courtyard includes the great room, with the kitchen, living and dining areas. The pavilion on the left houses one of the guest bedrooms, and straight ahead is the master bedroom pavilion. The third bedroom is accessed by an exterior staircase and is on the upper level of the main house pavilion. All three bedrooms are tastefully decorated and include a/c, satellite flatscreen TV’s and private en-suite bathrooms.

The sundeck includes plenty of lounge chairs and with the addition of two 9 ft Tuuci marine grade European umbrellas, you can relax in the sun and work on your golden tan or you can put up the umbrellas and relax by the pool in the shade; the choice is yours.

Ilios is one of a few favored homes that occupy the south-southwest facing shore of Hart Bay. The villa is the next to the last home on a dead-end road, so there is almost no traffic in this peaceful corner of paradise. Your views look south and you will enjoy gazing out at the multi-colored turquoise waters of Hart Bay and the Caribbean.

This picturesque, semi-secluded cove is only about a 7-8 minute drive on paved road from the quaint Caribbean town of Cruz Bay. Here you will enjoy frequenting the many fine restaurants, beach bars, shops and grocery stores. If you would like some recommendations, please ask our knowledgeable sales staff, as they know the island well.

Living And Dining: The main house contains the handsome great room (with a/c) that includes the living/dining and kitchen areas. With its rustic stone arches and light filled soaring ceilings, white walls, Mediterranean blue trim and restful views, the atmosphere in the great room is relaxing, and very romantic – a perfect honeymoon hideaway or lovers escape. If you wish to supplement the background sound of surf breaking on Hart Bay Beach, a satellite flat screen TV, stereo, and high speed internet access are provided.
The newly added a/c in the great room is a wonderful addition! You now have the choice of enjoying the 'open air' feel with the tropical breezes, or for those that enjoy a/c, you can close the doors and relax in air-conditioned comfort! And for extra added peace of mind, Ilios now has a solar powered battery back up for the unexpected times when the power goes down on the island.

There is dining in the courtyard under the hibiscus arbor at a table for 6, or dining in the great room at an antique table for 6. There’s a gas barbecue grill in the courtyard, and a house phone and washer/dryer are included.

Kitchen: The kitchen is completely equipped and opens wide to the courtyard and the living area. Included are a gas 4 burner stove and oven, refrigerator/freezer and a dishwasher, microwave, blender and coffee maker as well as cookware and dinnerware.
Bedroom Details: The master bedroom (king) overlooks the hibiscus garden and the pool. This charming private retreat includes a flat screen satellite TV, a private bath with a garden shower and a private deck. The spacious patio level bedroom (king) also has a flat screen satellite TV, private bath, garden shower and views of the courtyard garden and the Caribbean. The 2nd floor guest bedroom (queen) also has a flat screen satellite TV and an attached private bath. A tiled deck has been added to this bedroom, which is a delightful place for morning coffee while watching the sun rise, or a glass of wine while watching cruise ships en route to other Caribbean destinations.
