Wake up to the sound of jungle birds and howler monkeys. Stay in a beautiful, unique bamboo and brick home with lush vegetation all around. The house includes AC in the bedrooms, modern appliances, including a combo air fryer/microwave oven, and a washing machine. It's fully furnished for up to 8 people. The house is located in a quiet gated community and is very private and secure. Our home is just 1 km or 0.5 mile easy walk to the beach. There is a private beach area with picnic area, bathrooms, and shower for use. The closest beach is the perfect swim beach with gentle waves. There are a couple of small restaurants nearby. Just another 2 km or 1.5 mile is a well known surf beach. With a vehicle it's easily accessible. The nearest town is San Juan del Sur, a small quaint beach town with a variety of stores and restaurants. San Juan del Sur is just under 7km or 4 miles from the house. If you like to surf, Playa Maderas is just 3 km away. It is well known for surfers.

Why they chose this property

We chose the area of San Juan del Sur because of our family who live in the area. The community we live in is safe and close to the beach. It's also sparsely populated so very quiet. There are a lot of trees and vegetation, making for a great place to see howler monkeys.

What makes this property unique

Our house is very unique as it is made of bamboo and brick. Most homes in the area are made of concrete. We wanted something that had less environmental impact and decided on materials that are more sustainable. The house has high ceilings and great airflow, allowing for the home to stay cool during the day. Lastly, it is a C-shaped home, making it even more unique.
