This host is amazing. The house was perfect. We were in town for a graduation. After an evening’s award ceremony, rather than going out to an impersonal dinner at a restaurant we were able to invite people back to the house for pizza and salad. It was cosy and enjoyable. The house and rooms are as shown in the pictures. This host was spectacular and responded to any questions or concerns immediately. We would stay here again.
Hot tub needed some extra attention but we resolved the issue w host's help. Started our mornings w coffee in the hot tub & after hiking Muir Woods, Golden Gate Park, Ocean Beach up to Lands End Trail, and Fort Point National Site (all worth touring!). We ended with a Sonoma Hot Air Balloon ride and lunch in Napa! Gorgeous The house provides a view that keeps the vacation vibe going even though you are in a subdivision. We had a skunk that walked passed in the morning and owls hooting above us at night, we enjoyed the wildlife!Safeway is close by for quick runs for food.An hour drive to San Francisco and 35 min to Napa. We had all that we needed for our stay

Thank you so much for this thoughtful review. It truly means a lot!
I’m really glad we were able to get the hot tub sorted out and that you were still able to enjoy those peaceful mornings with coffee, that’s one of my favorite parts of the home as well.
It sounds like you made the absolute most of your trip.
Muir Woods, Lands End, Fort Point, and a Sonoma balloon ride is an incredible itinerary! And yes, the wildlife visits from time to time definitely add to the experience 😊
I’m so happy the location, views, and convenience worked well for you, and I truly appreciate how well you took care of the home during your stay.
You’re always welcome back anytime!

While the backyard view gave us beautiful scenery and peace, the amenities were left to be desired as we tried to make ourselves comfortable during our stay. Positives include stocked kitchen and comfortable downstairs living room. Negatives include missing lightbulbs, no drapes on a couple of the upstairs bedrooms, mostly dirty wash towels with no extra linens, no trash bins except in the kitchen, loose shower head that sprayed water everywhere, and dust all across the house. There were also holes in the wall, missing crown molding and detached wallpaper where it exposed nails which could be considered a safety hazard. We didn’t mind the older home but did not feel there was any effort at all to host guests. Absolutely did not get the value for what we paid for this stay.

Not as expected. A dissapointment as the view does not make up for the shortfalls. The view is beautiful but there is no outdoor seating furniture to enjoy it, the hot tub was broken (I notified the host and he gave me a small refund). Also in the backyard were old, unsightly, discarded, dilapitdated, and cobwebbed BBQ and wire drawer unit right by the door which had a torn screen. The house was clean in the sense that the beds and linens were clean and a housekeeper had been there but the house is old, dated and needs many maintenance issues taken care of. There were burnt out light bulbs, broken fixtures, non-functioning electrical outlets and a very noisy fan and this is all just in one bathroom. The dining room table has one leg that is at an angle and ready to break off. One of the most off -putting things is that there is a lot of random personal items in the drawers and closets. This made the house feel cluttered, disorganized and uncomfortable. Do not expect a pristine or organized home, especially if you plan on cooking. Very disfuntional kitchen as far as the cupboards, drawers and supplies. I wish other reviews would have been more honest about the actual condition so I wouldn't have my other travel mates banning me from ever selecting another VRBO for us.
