Incredible property. Close walk to the beach, access to multiple bikes is a nice touch for anyone who wants to explore beyond the immediate beach access. The property was clean, check in was a breeze with plenty of information and there was plenty of towels, utensils, linens, and appliances to host our family for the Fourth. Seaside is a nearby destination with plenty of beaches and cafes/shops in between to pop into. Would stay again.

Magnolia Tides was an incredible choice for our family. Everybody had plenty of space and privacy. The home is absolutely beautiful and it was clean and orderly when we arrived. The pool was fantastic and was heated upon our arrival as we had requested. I highly recommend Magnolia Tides if you want to be close to both the beach and 30A! 5 STAR

This is our 4th time staying at magnolia tides so I believe we have gotten a good jist of the house and management team. Giving it a few chances, I feel it's right to leave a review now. And the little things such as not having oven mits, basic kitchen cooking supplies, toilet paper, don't bother me. What bothers me is that every time we have gone there, the pool and yard are a mess. They do not clean the pool prior to new guests checking in. They clean it on Mondays. We have little kids that wanted to swim right away but unfortunately there was visible growing algae all over the pool. Also sand all over the bottom. The pool guy came and “cleaned” it. No, did a horrible job. Algae and sand were still there. It was unsafe to swim in. And again, main reason we go there is to have access to a pool. That will be the last time we stay at magnolia tides.

The house is beautiful and it was very clean. However, the washing machine did work and had to be replaced when we were there (the last day of our trip). The pool chlorinator didn't work while we were there and had to be fixed. There was algae growing in the pool. The frig filter needed replaced so the ice wouldn't work in the freezer and we had to call and bought ice. We only got one towel per person for showering and no kitchen towels (for 1 1/2 days) so had to call for extra towels because the washing machined didn't work. One of the garage doors was being fixed while we were there. They give you bare bones for the house. Make sure you take kitchen garbage bags, dish soap, laundry soap, hand soap, etc........

Beautiful House and Less Than Desirable Beach

The house itself is beautiful—spacious, multi-level, and well-equipped with great amenities such as a private pool, grill, bikes, and a ping pong table. It's located about 2.5 miles from Seaside, which makes for a pleasant bike ride. However, the ride to Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach is significantly longer—around six miles by bike—so driving may be a better option for visiting those areas. While beach access is technically within walking or biking distance, reaching the beach requires wading through Eastern Lake. Unfortunately, we encountered some unpleasant floating debris in the lake, which discouraged us from using that access point. My wife refused to cross the lake after the first attempt, and by the second day, even our college-age kids opted out of going to the beach. We ultimately chose to use the One Seagrove Beach Access, which is about 1.1 miles away by bike. Though less convenient, it provided a much cleaner and more enjoyable beach experience.
