Beautiful property with all the amenities you could hope for. The view is truly stunning. Private and peaceful, but just a short drive into town. We were in town for business and this property worked perfectly for us. We'll definitely stay here again if we need to revisit the Fairplay area!

House is absolutely beautiful. All the small details around the house truly make this house spectacular. The views of the mountains are amazing. Clean house and very spacious perfect for a family/friend get away. Host are quick to reply although we didn't really have any issues. Only about 30 minutes from Breck. We had a winter storm one day and host sent out for someone to plow the snow so we could get out. House is equipped with everything you need.

From the fire into natures cool pastures..,..

Went looking for an escape away from the blistering Houston heat wave and found the perfect rental home, Higher Ground! What a refreshing delight to find ourselves headed toward cooler Fairplay, CO. The 7 acre property was wooded and off the beatin path of old ranch houses and ski condos. It provided an amazing view from the property! Almost like being in Estes Park surrounded by a plethora of Birch and Aspen trees. The home is new well taken care of, and a designers delight. Big beautiful Full windows provide an outstanding view of nature from the living room, house has a dream kitchen, private balconies off the master bedroom and dining area. This place offers lots of tree covered acerage for walks, exploring, and is a short distance from Fairplay, Alma, and Breckenridge for those short drives for shopping and dining! So check out the website and book your stay so you can catch those beautiful fall colors!
