We had a wonderful stay in Barnard! The space was beautiful, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. Kelli was incredibly responsive and generous in sharing local tips and recommendations, which made exploring the area even more special. The location is peaceful yet conveniently close to towns like Woodstock, making it a perfect home base for our trip. We’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it!

Beautiful apartment in the Vermont countryside. Kelli is a great host who thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and welcoming! We traveled on business and the apartment was the perfect spot to relax and recharge after a long day. Comfortable bed, relaxing living room, kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals or snacks, much appreciated was the delicious homemade zucchini bread Kelli left for us! I enjoyed starting my day sitting on the balcony with my coffee, watching the sun rise. Looking forward to staying here again, we will definitely be back!

Kelli’s place was great. Located is beautiful and quite part of Barnard. The apartment itself was well appointed. Had everything we needed and then some. We fell in love with the bed mattress and pillows. The only issue was that the WIFI would buffer and/or drop frequently. Tried some adjustments but did work consistantly.

As busy parents of a blended family with four children, we desperately needed a weekend break from the kids, the dogs, and the daily hustle of life. I booked with Kelli, and she was an exceptional host from start to finish. The property itself was absolutely outstanding—truly picture-perfect. It was beautifully appointed, serene, and fully functional. You really don’t need to bring anything other than your own food if you’re planning an extended stay. We were only there for the weekend, so we dined out at local restaurants instead.During our visit, we explored Woodstock, Killington, and the Rutland/Proctor area. It was my first time in Woodstock and my wife’s first trip to Vermont, and we both fell in love with the area—it has such a distinct charm, very different from New Hampshire where we usually go.We noticed the property is for sale, which is unfortunate because we would love to return next year. This place is a dream. The fresh slices of homemade apple bread were a thoughtful and delicious touch.Thank you, Kelli, for helping make our weekend peaceful and memorable.

I lived in Houston for 20+ years and only spent school holidays in Vermont. Covid allowed me the opportunity to move full time to my “heart home” of Vermont!

Why they chose this property

There is something soooo very “Vermont” about Barnard! The sound of the cows, the beautiful rural landscape and unpaved roads…yet less than a 15 minute drive to Woodstock.
