This place was all the we wanted and more! Really cool house with an amazing back yard. It had so much space and some really cool amenities. 2 block walk to catch the trolley and some nice establishments in the area. I would highly recommend this place to any of my friends or family. To make things even better, the host was fabulous. They were very quick to respond, very accommodating and had some great recommendations!

This house was everything we dreamed for. We used poolyard every day. Spa was very relaxing. Kitchen is very well stocked. Plenty of space for everyone in our group with 6 beds and 4 baths. Lots of privacy. Loved the historic old charm of Nola visible in every detail of the house. Poolyard has lots of privacy with brick wall on one side and tall fence on the other. Its beautiful with this lush, tropical setting. Its only short walk to the streetcar so we did use our car only once, when visiting beaches in Pass Christian, MS which i highly recommend since its only about 1hr ride from Nola. Streetcar pass per day is only 3 for adults and 1 for youth. We felt very safe in the area, we walked around late at night. There's a nice place with beautiful courtyard just 15 minutes walk away (if you already had enough of French Qtr). Its called Rusty Nail. Most importantly, Kate, our host was a charm. She is amazing. Very responsive , addressing all inquiries immediately. I can't say enough of this place. Everything was perfect.

I’m originally from Chicago, but I’ve been coming to New Orleans since I was a teenager because I love the music and food.

Why they chose this property

You will love exploring this friendly and walkable historic neighborhood just one block north of the Garden District.

We are also conveniently located just a block to the Saint Charles Avenue Streetcar, which takes you right to the French Quarter, the Fairgrounds, or anywhere else in the city you'd like to go for only $1.25 ($3 for an all day pass).

If you prefer to walk to the French Quarter like I do, it's about a mile (8 blocks), so very convenient. The house does not have a dedicated parking spot, but there is a ton of street parking right in front of the house.

What makes this property unique

I absolutely love the backyard oasis with pool, hot tub, and lush landscaping. The house is historic and has many fireplaces and very tall ceilings. It’s a perfect place to stay with your friends and family.
