Disliked: Cleanliness, communication, location, listing accuracy
The house was still under construction despite us asking several times if it was going to be ready. They put us in a house around the corner and it’s hard to describe how run down it was - mould in freezer - drink fridge did not work - dishwasher was full of old dirty water - 1 of 5 beds had pillows - no towels - no coat hangers - duct table for plug in tub - out door table pure rust - couch was actually so disgusting we didn’t sit on it. - bugs were terrible and extension cord ran through the window over the kitchen sink so it could not be plugged. - we were told there was a new Michelin restaurant and then when we got there we’re told it never opened.- beach was jagged rocks. It goes on and on.We left after first night and requested a refund. The cost to get ti and from north Caicos was about 1500 USD. The manager of the unit told us the cost of the water taxi was more than what is cost when we called the saw guy ourselves. It felt like a giant bait and switch and back handed cash grabs. I’ve never written a bad review but it’s hard to explain how hilariously bad this place was compared to what we thought we were renting.
