About the host
Hosted by Kathleen Gepp

I born and raised in Dallas, Texas, by my artist mom, rising horses and helping her with her garden throughout the year. Her art became more coastal focused, so she moved to Florida, and in 2010, I followed. A couple years later, my daughter arrived as well. Now we all live within 10 minutes of each other. I dabble in many forms of arts and crafts, my favorite being pottery, and I am just beginning to teach middle schoolers Art and Literature. My daughter, her husband and my toddler grandson live right down the street, so I spend a lot of time there. She also owns vacation rentals in St Pete, and I manage them for her. And my mother's artwork graces the walls in all of our rentals. Look for her signature "SLCotton" on her paintings. You can also check out her website: Suelynncotton.com. She and I are combining our crafts on an Etsy site, due to launch in 2026.
I live to stay busy with things I am passionate about, and I love hosting. It gives me an opportunity to share this wonderful place I call home, and to meet people from all walks of life, discover what makes them unique, and hear about their travel exoeriences. Even better if I can introduce them to a fabulous experience they didn't anticipate they would have when they came to visit. If I can add even a little extra joy and peace for my guests, that makes me smile.

Why they chose this property
I have always preferred a somewhat rural piece of property, and a small town feel, within a larger community that has all the conveniences nearby. My daughter and I both found our homes within a couple of days of one another, and it seemed like it was fate. I am so blessed to be living in this little slice of paradise, with the towering Oaks and thick lush palms that sway and shimmer in the breeze. I am so glad to be able to share it with you!
What makes this property unique
It's obvious that this is a unique place to stay. Where else can you wake to roosters crowing, eggs laid that morning for breakfast, then head off to the beach nearby for the day? Then you can head back in the evening, to a magical place surrounded by string lights hidden in the palms, a firepit or grill at your service for dinner followed by s'mores. Hammocks and tree swings or pool and hot tub, which will it be? Lucky you, you can have it all, here at your new discovery, the Florida Charm Mini-Farm.
