This was a great location for anyone wanting to hike Ricketts Glen. Place was clean. They supplied firwood for a price if you wanted to do a fire behind the house. No issue with communication with owner.

Although mother nature ruined the plan to ride the motorcycle up and back we still had a wonderful time and we will definitely be back to this little cottage again.

Wonderful weekend! The cabin was just as described - very comfortable for our family of four. Close to Rickett’s Glen State Park so we had fun hiking and then coming back to the comforts this cabin offers. Would stay here again!

Adorable cabin very close to incredible hiking at Ricketts Glen State Park. Had a great stay! FYI there is a linen rental fee, which we missed in the listing, but luckily the owner was pro active in asking us if we needed them (which we did as we were traveling out of state).

Cabin was great! Clean and no bugs or insects on the inside. Had everything one needs. Very simple, very uncluttered interior and peaceful setting. We appreciated the rustic feel of the cabin and the convenience of the propane fireplace and stove. Would definitely stay again.

My family enjoyed this lovely, private cabin for the weekend. The host was helpful and easy to talk to. The kitchen and bath were very clean and well stocked. My kids enjoyed the loft and surrounding woods. Close to state parks with lots to see and do. Thank you!

The cabin was really nice however they do advertise as having air conditioning. They have one small AC unit for the whole cabin and none in the bedroom. The bedroom got really hot at night making it difficult to sleep. In addition we had to pay a linen fee of 20 dollars to receive 2 towels for our whole stay in the heat. Other than that the cabin was nice and the host was very accommodating and answered quickly.

The cabin does have AC and is quite cool. I personally don’t like the heat and never had an issue with the temp there - even during the summer. The linen rental includes - sheets and towels (hand towel, bath towel, wash cloth) per person.

Spent two nights at this lovely cabin and visited the 2 local state parks and a few covered bridges. Enjoyed the fire pit, comfy bed and relaxing den. Thanks for a great stay!
