The home has a wood-burning fireplace that goes two stories high with a stone face. It was stunning! The furniture was attractive and comfortable. The views from the house are amazing on a clear day. The bedrooms were a nice size and had very comfortable beds and pillows. The kitchen had everything we needed and nice appliances. The hot tub was a nice addition and appeared clean (used by three of the four of us). We loved the place!

The view is exceptional, the rustic craftsmanship is beautiful, and the wildlife was unforgettable. We watched a herd of elk cross the meadow each evening, along with a buck and three turkeys.Unfortunately, the property’s condition didn’t justify nearly 3,000 for a three-night stay. We expected a luxury experience but found a home that appeared overdue for maintenance.Our first impression was a pump house with insulation protruding from the door. Other issues included a broken upstairs door that made the upper deck unusable, poorly sealed French doors that roared in the wind, failed window seals that obscured the Mount Adams view, overgrown weeds on the patio and walkways, roofing material in the grass, a bee nest above the deck, garbage bins strewn about, a snow shovel under a broken deck step, piles of old lumber, and cheap outdoor furniture that felt out of place.Individually, these issues are minor. Collectively, they gave the impression the property hadn’t been prepared for guests.To Arrived’s credit, customer service responded immediately and offered to send someone out. We declined because these are items that should have been addressed before arrival.This property has five-star potential because the location is spectacular. Better upkeep, weed control, basic repairs, replacing failed windows, removing debris, and a thorough pre-arrival inspection would make a dramatic difference.

Would be great if hot tub was heated prior to arrival. It does take awhile maybe 8 hours to get hot :). Still awesome. Thank you And it can be trick to turn on and engage heat pump

This was a super cool rental. When the weather cooperated it had spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. The location was about a 15 min drive to grocery stores and restaurants, but we enjoyed the peace and quiet of Adams Rest. The hosts were responsive and did a great job of checking in to make sure we arrived safely. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this rental.
