Great Escape on Lake Greenwood SC - comfortable lakefront home beautiful sunsets

Unwind in Cross Hill at this relaxing lakefront home.

Take in beautiful sunsets every night as you disconnect from fast-paced life and enjoy time away with family and friends. You can choose your view from the inside wall of windows, screened in porch, lounge chairs on the back deck, adirondack chairs on the waterfront, or just keep playing in the water.

Keep it cozy or bring some friends with room for 8-9 adults; there are 4 bedrooms including a king room, 2 queen rooms, and a fourth room with a full and twin bed. There are 2 fold up twin mattresses for kids if needed, for up to 11 guests total.

2 full bathrooms are stocked with bath and lake towels for your convenience.

We have 2 kayaks with adult and youth sized PFDs you can use, a large swim platform, and dock for you to enjoy the water at the house. Don’t forget your fishing poles! Bring your boat and put in at Moon Landing RV Park & Marina just a few miles away. We have room to park your trailer at the house and you can tie up at our dock during your stay. Boat rentals are also available at Skippers on Lake Greenwood. We are on the big open water near the middle of the lake.

We have a fully stocked kitchen where you can prepare meals, including stove, oven, microwave, air fryer, griddle, and crock pot. On the screen porch we have a blackstone and grill.

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds, gather used towels and store extra beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Close blinds/curtains and set thermostat to 76.
Lock front door by gently pulling door, then press the lock icon or enter code.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Only the person who made the reservation and the number of guests noted (11 max) are allowed on the premises or you will be cancelled with no refund.
Kayaks only for use during daylight hours, follow all SC DNR regulations.
Parking for 5 cars maximum. 2 in front of garage, 2 under carport or 1 under 1 behind, 1 directly beside carport. Do NOT block neighbor’s driveway.

Had a great weekend at this peaceful lake house. The owner is very responsive and the view of the lake was beautiful. Perfect spot to relax and recharge. Highly recommend for a low key escape.

Baseball tournament

Last minute decision to stay on the lake while we were in town for a baseball tournament. House was perfect for what we needed. Loved having the lake right out the back door. We were able to swim and fish off the dock. We really appreciated having the free WiFi and streaming services. Communication with owner was fantastic. They had a welcome packet on the counter as we walked in which helped us find the best places to eat! We will definitely be back.
