This place was great! The home was like something out of a novel from the old timbers in the great room to the beautiful views of the lake. The docks were fabulous too! It was very nice having 4 bathrooms! We plan to stay here again.

Absolutely loved this home on the lake. So much fun with a pool table, ping pong table and plenty of games for everyone. The owners were so kind and accommodating. I will be renting this home again in the future.

It was an amazing sanctuary, a hidden gem nestled in the woods. The game room was a hit and the home lends itself to gathering . The privacy and outdoor docks, fire pit, and inviting screened in porch is where we spent most of our time. The communication was excellent and home clean and well supplied to meet all your needs!

I can’t express how amazing this property is! The pictures do not do it justice! There is enough there at the house that you can’t get bored, you won’t need anything! If you’ve forgotten something, check the signs posted in the house, you may find it already there! My 4 year old granddaughter loved using the megaphone to talk to her daddy on the dock! We had 8 adults and 4 children with us, there was lots of room for everyone! The covered dock is amazing! Book this house, you won’t regret it!

I can’t say enough positive things about this house!!! We had the absolute best time. The kitchen is well equipped, beds were very comfortable, so much space both inside and out, and the amenities were outstanding. We played pool, cards, fished, kayaked, and enjoyed the lake. This piece of property provides the best view while also being convenient to restaurants on the lake. We hope to be able to come back next summer!!!

We have always stayed in a different house when we’re at the lake but this year we wanted to bring our dog. I found this house and didn’t think we could like it better than our previous rental but we did. The yard, dock and house were private even though there were neighbors in each side. They left wood ready to be lit in the firepit and even left light wood which we needed since it rained the day before. There were different varieties of coffee, tea, sweeteners and creamers for us to use. There were tons of games and a ping table that we all used. Christie checked in with us several times to make sure we didn’t have any questions. We are already planning to rent this same house next year!!

Fantastic Host

I cannot say enough about this host. We had several guys staying during hurricane relief, and she was more than accommodating. The place is beautiful and more than described. If I could give it a million stars I would!

This lady was born to be a host!!! Made sure we had what we needed and was comfortable! We had all tyge informationweneeded! She was awesome! This house is our all time favorite!!! We were happy just to be at her home! Didnt need anything else. From the youngest to the oldest, we were all totally content!

Easter fun at the Lake

We had such a wonderful time visiting our Grandson who plays baseball at Lander university. We also had our granddaughter who is a junior at University of Georgia come stay with us. It was the perfect place to celebrate Easter with family. Plenty of space for all of us and loved the history of this home and the gorgeous lake views. It is stocked with everything you could possibly need and the hosts were so accommodating. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend this beautiful place.

The hosts were very accommodating and thought of everything we might need, even a spare toothbrush. (Very helpful, thanks!)We felt right at home. It definitely doesn’t have that cheesy short term rental feel. The decor is whimsical and fun. There is a lot to do between the games and ping-pong table and books. Bad weather is no problem here!The location on the lake is great as well: very close to restaurants and the bridge as well as the new boat landing that is very nice and very free. We rode the kayaks over to Break on The Lake for dinner.
