You are walking distance to Houghton Lake (Michigan's biggest inland lake) and a boat launch within a mile for a fisherman/boater's paradise. This home is also centrally located to grocery stores, restaurants, ORV trails, and golf courses. Across the street (M55) is an iconic diner (Powell's) for breakfast and lunch. In close proximity are many bars, restaurants and Pines movie theater.

I was happy with the house, and used the barbecue also we had a good time with the fire pit. I think the main bedroom mattress should be replaced too soft and worn but overall it was a very clean and cozy house!

This was a really nice unit. Not on the water, but within a few minutes drive time to Houghton Lake, and 20 minutes to Higgins Lake. Lots of beautiful trails, boat launches, and public parks. Located on a quiet street, close to stores and restaurants. Would stay here again. The host was more than accommodating, and made sure every need was met. The house is well equipped, even down to a crate for your dog. The washing machine and dryer were an added bonus!
