Relax and take in wonderful views of Gloucester's beautiful Good Harbor Beach, with Thatcher Island beyond, from this cheerful two bedroom vacation rental apartment. It is the perfect place to stay during your New England summer getaway!

Both the living room and the primary bedroom have sliding doors that open onto a spacious, private, sun-kissed deck complete with gorgeous water views, a lounge chair and a table and chairs for al fresco dining, all overlooking the verdant backyard.

The primary bedroom has a queen-sized bed while the second bedroom comes furnished with bunk beds (double on bottom and single on top level). A well-equipped galley kitchen, pleasant full bathroom with tub and shower complete the unit. Outdoors, one can enjoy the large yard, rife with plentiful herbs and flowers.

Conveniently located a very short walking distance away from Good Harbor Beach and scenic Bass Rocks, a short drive away from restaurants, stores, a laundromat, and with easy access to Route 128, Garden by the Sea is one the best vacation spots around.

Please note that the friendly owners live in a separate unit of the house.

Garden by the Sea

This is a lovely accomodation. Beautiful view of the ocean. A short 5 min walk to Good Harbor Beach. The house is located on a well traveled road so there is a little bit of traffic noise. The hosts are lovely people, available but not intrusive. A walk up the road will take you along the coastline with gorgeous views of the Atlantic. The location is excellent, quick trips to both Bearskin Neck and Rocky Neck. Cape Ann is gorgeoux!

We had a great stay! Our hostess greeted us on arrival and was very welcome. She left us bakery cookies and scones.It truly was only a 5 minute walk to Good Harbor Beach. Our host provided a beach cart with 2 beach chairs and an umbrella, making it so easy to load everything we needed for a day at the beach.Near lots of places to eat both casual and upscale as well as other beaches. Being so close to the ocean there was a wonderful breeze so we never turned the air conditioning on. Loved the sun on the deck for our morning coffee and hearing the sound of the surf at night. Lovely gardens. We would definitely return!

The property is superbly located and the view of Good Harbor Beach is world class. But more importantly than anything is the property owners. Bob and Madeline are as fine of people that you will ever encounter. Kind, Gracious, and Helpful. I feel completely at home when I am staying at Garden By The Sea.
