In accordance with the Town of Kiawah Island Short Term Rental Ordinance, all guests understand that the approved number of bedrooms is 3, the maximum allowed occupancy is 8, and the maximum allowed number of vehicles is 3.

This Kiawah Island vacation rental is a Turtle Cove Villa with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a gorgeous lagoon view, and a screened porch. The villa is about a 5-minute walk to the beach.

This first-floor villa offers a living space with comfortable seating, a flat-screen TV, and access to the screened porch. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, white cabinets and is well equipped to meet your cooking needs. The dining area, located right off the kitchen, is the perfect area for hosting meals. It also offers access to the screened porch.

Past the living room is the primary bedroom with a queen bed, flat-screen TV, private bathroom with shower/tub combo, double sinks, and access to the screened porch. On the same side of the villa, there is a bedroom with 2 full beds and a private bathroom with a shower/tub combo. On the other side of the living room is another bedroom with a king bed, flat-screen TV, and private access to the hallway bathroom with a tub/shower combo.

The villa’s screened porch has views of the lagoon and boasts a table and chairs that comfortably seat 6.

The villa is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $250. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, and more – the choice is yours!

During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.

Great place to stay on Kiawah Island

We were in town for the marathon so options were limited, but we really enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean and as described, check in was a breeze, and the location was perfect. We all agreed that we would stay there again in the future for golf or a weekend getaway.

Great location, very clean...

We've stayed in the turtle point area for several years now and this condo/villa is one of the nicer units we've rented. Very clean and a short bike ride to the beach. Great views of the lagoon from the back deck.

Family Vacay

The lock did not work when we first arrived, but management was able to guide us through opening the key to gain entry. Maintenance arrived within 30 minutes to fix the lock and provide us with a new code.Plenty of room, loved sitting on the patio watching the wildlife. quick walk/bike ride to the beach. Back 2 rooms did not get as much AC, but overall great trip,

Reviewer Comments: I have sent two emails just after we returned last month describing in detail the issues we had with this unit- one to Stephen Ellis and one to the rental associate who booked the property for us. I am disappointed in your company that we received no response from either. We visit KI 3-4 times a year and have always respected Akers Ellis but I am disappointed the way things were handled here. The owner should know the poor condition of the property as well as what was done to try to remedy the problems. Based on how this was handled, including lack of follow up I am not comfortable renting from you again.

I would say that there are a lot of little details that needed to be addressed, from faucet handles that were falling off to moldy shower curtains, a bed without all of the linens and a door lock that was so difficult the key broke off. Concerns were addressed promptly but are ones that routine maintenance and more supervision for housekeeping could have eliminated in the first place.

The countertops had not been cleaned, the carpets are in definite need of a deep clean, and we found several items from previous guests in drawers/under beds. I think with a good cleaning this would be a great rental. This villa was very conveniently located and the kitchen/bath updates were quite nice.

I have stayed with Akers Ellis in the past and this was by far the worst rental until I have stayed in. The location is great, however the condo needs all around updating. This condo is extremely worn down and needs routine updates None of the tubs actually fill up with water since the drains are all broken. Washer and dryer are extremely loud and cannot be run while someone is in condo. Cannot hold a conversation with either of them running. Microwave door is falling off. Garbage disposal is broken- they came to unclog it throughout the week however it was still unusable. One of the showers leaked as well.

Reviewer Comments: I have stayed in 20 or so different homes/condos on Kiawah Island in the 30 years I have vacationed there, including a number of Turtle Cove Villa condos. 4843 is one that I believe needs the most TLC of all my experiences. I generally don't write negative or even lukewarm reviews, but I really wanted to like this place more than I did. While in a great location - lagoon view/reasonable walk/bike ride to the beach - it feels much more like a worn and tired vacation rental property than others I have visited. The owners need to invest in some much-needed improvements to this property, including the bedding, which was not particularly comfortable. I'm not sure whose idea it was to block the openings in torn screens on the porch with balled up pieces of aluminum foil, but that's not the way to fix that issue, even if it is a purely aesthetic concern. Trying to get the door to the porch open where it rubs heavily on the hardwood floor was a daily chore. The air conditioning, while operational, was not balanced well, with two of the bedrooms remaining consistently warmer than the rest of the condo. The porch fan is virtually unusable, as it's very unbalanced and makes a racket when operated. As warm as it was in the evenings while there, that would have been nice to have working - not an expensive replacement. Some of the window blinds don't work. The dryer control doesn't have an arrow on it, so it's a guess as to where the setting is. Perhaps these are little things, but they present as if this is strictly an investor rental where the owners never use the property. If you need 3 BR's/3 BA's with a good view and reasonable beach access, and don't mind the relative lack of modernization and updating in your vacation rental, this condo will be fine for you. It's just not up to par with so many of the others I have rented over the years that feel more like someone's personal vacation home for rent.

The property was clean, well-maintained; loved the lagoon view. We like to cook in some, and the kitchen was better stocked than most, although it would have been nice to have a cutting board. Was surprised that the smaller bathroom was part of the master bedroom. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms would be a nice addition.

A big reward was several times seeing 3 deer just outside the porch and the next morning realizing that they had bedded down under the bushes outside the kitchen window!

Great 3 bedroom unit that was in a great location, spacious, had an awesome screen porch, water view and most importantly, was comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed for 6 people to cook/eat. Linens were top quality which was very nice. I would recommend this turtle cove unit for anyone looking for a nice place to stay with your friends or family.
