*Premier* RESORT PRIVILEGES, 2 BR/2BA Sleeps 6 Tennis Club Villa
RESORT PRIVILEGES, Including Resort Seasonal Pools and Slides, Discounted Golf, and more. This newly renovated two-bedroom, two bath villa unit features screened in porch and a 65" UHD Smart TV. The villa is within walking distance to the beach or a quick bike ride via winding bridges and pathways. Bedding includes a king bed in the master suite and two double beds in the second bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances.
The villa contains a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances complete with full size refrigerator and Keurig single cup coffee maker (in addition to the standard coffee maker). There is a stacked washer/dryer that is less than 2 years old. All bedrooms have televisions with a 55” UHD Smart TV in the master. Bedding includes a king bed in the master suite and two double beds in the second bedroom. The master bath includes a double vanity with large walk-in shower with soaking tub.
The resort is accessed via a pass that will be issued by the resort. If you forget the pass, they will give you a new one at the security gate after you give them your name. The villa is accessed via electronic key card that the resort will issue to you upon arrival.
The home has been featured in the Winter 2019 edition of Charleston Home + Design (Chelsea Meissner), Page 158. Available online.
Resort privileges include access to resort pools/slides, discounted golf and desired tee times, as well as resort management available to deal with any guest issues. The Night Heron heated family pool is open from March 7th to November 28th for the 2020 season. The West Beach pool and the children's area/slides at Night Heron are generally open seasonally for the warmer weather. Poolside service offers food and adult beverages.
The Roy Barth Tennis Center is just steps from the condo and they offer Pickle ball with equipment rental as well as tennis.
The market area shop and dining is a short walk from the villa. It is a great place to go for breakfast if you do not feel like cooking.
There are many great restaurants close by on the resort. The Players Club at Cougar Point is new and had good food in a beautiful building. The Turtle Point Clubhouse is very close and either has Tomasso for Italian fare or the bar at Tomasso that has a wide selection of food (and is casual). Tomasso is very close, but do not ride your bikes here for dinner unless you have good bike lights as Kiawah is very dark at night.
Off the resort are plenty of food choices as well. Freshfields can be reached from the villa while on bike trails the entire way. One of our favorite choices at Freshfields is the 48 Wine Bar that features good food and wine self-dispensing machines. Further down is Bohicket Marina that has a nice ice cream shop (owned by the Mayor of Bohicket, Todd) and the best sunset on the island.
The beach is a short bike ride from the villa and can be reached in less than 5 minutes without rushing by using the bike trails.
Setting up bike rentals before you arrive ensure availability. The island is covered with tree lined bike paths and are fun to explore. Bikes are a very easy way to get around.
The beach and pools are best reached by bike (although you could walk or drive as well). There are many miles of scenic bike trails on Kiawah and the resort as well as many private companies offer rentals of bikes and bike trailers. Make sure to get a front basket when you rent the bikes and bringing a backpack can make travel easier as well. The pools provide towels, but you will have to bring towels for the beach (unless you contact the resort for a beach set up).

This delightful villa provided sanctuary from a harsh Northeast winter. The kitchen and bathrooms were spotlessly clean. The kitchen had ample storage and cooking supplies. We were close to the tennis courts, an added bonus!
This was our first time staying in Kiawah. We have a family of 5 with 3 kids, ages 8-12. We were very impressed with the communication, location, and cleanliness of this place! Hopefully we will be back again.
Our unit was absolutely beautiful. Very clean and newly renovated. The shower system made me want to redo my own at home! Definitely recommend this villa. The resort access was the best bonus.
We had a blast at this condo, and it was close to everything we wanted to do… we rode bikes to the beach but it was easy walk as well. And the master shower is wonderful!
Great location, very clean, and such a wonderful experience!! Looking forward to returning next year, only for longer.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
property is dated. The primary bedroom has a very uncomfortable bed. Second bedroom has full size mattresses on queen bed frames causing numerous opportunities for “toe-jams”. HVAC was quiet and efficient. Didn’t use kitchen but appears well stocked. Listed as having resort privileges but could not use Sanctuary pool.
Went for a girls night to relax and I have to say it was def great. The place is amazing and the porch is peaceful. The only issue I had was with the front desk our keys weren’t working 3 times I had to call them and couldn’t get it after about an hour of waiting outside the place they were able to fix it. Overall, it was great with a hiccup in the beginning to access but it was fixed so we made the best of it.
Everything was absolutely perfect! It was such a nice place & clean! Still amazed with the shower! It was the perfect place for Our wedding day. We will 100% be back!!

Convenient location to all Kiawah has to offer!
Jason was very accommodating and was quick to reply. We rented for one night, but decided to stay for two. It is a very central location. Close walking distance to the Sanctuary (where you can rent bikes) and the convenience store. We ate all meals out, but the kitchen looked well equipped. The tv was very large and the seating comfortable. Private back screened porch.
