Cozy Cottage - Minutes from Attractions!
Welcome to The Tarwater House! This cozy little cottage was built in 1946 by my grandparents and totally remodeled in 2013. It boasts lots of character and amenities for your convenience. Master bedroom has a king bed, second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has two twin beds. All of the bedrooms are equipped with smaller TV’s and DVD players. The Living room is equipped with a Smart HDTV and wireless internet is provided for your stay. All TV's have ROKU's and we have Spectrum Apps - please click on the Spectrum App to stream cable TV. If you would like to watch Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. login to your account, but make sure to logout before your departure.
The kitchen is fully equipped - stainless steel appliances, all dishes, cookware, crockpot, etc., are provided. An outdoor charcoal grill is also provided for your use. We have a large field that you are welcome to use for croquet, volleyball, bean bag toss, horse shoes, etc. There is an outdoor firepit with Adirondack chairs and you are welcome to to enjoy the Wicker deck furniture as well! This little cottage has everything you need and much, much more. Minutes from attractions and The Great Smoky Mountains.

About the host

This cottage was built in 1946 by my Grandparents - Estle & Velma Tarwater. My grandmother's family lived in Elkmont & Tremont before The Great Smoky Mountain National Park was established. My mother and her sister grew up in this house. Although both have moved away from Sevierville they decided to keep the homeplace for the family - a home away from home. We hope you enjoy your stay!!

My brother, cousin and I spent two weeks every summer with our grandparents at this cute little cottage! We have wonderful memories here and hope you make memories for your family as well.
What makes this property unique
This cottage is nestled in a small, quiet area - away from most of the noise. Grab a cup of coffee and enjoy the peaceful mornings. We are located 7 miles from Pigeon Forge.
