My niece and I visited the last week of June and had a great time. The cabin was clean, super cute and so nice and cool on a hot day. It was so hot we were melting so stepping into a nicely air conditioned cabin was heaven. We found we were close to parks and the lake so daily treks were short to get to where we were going. Cell service is a little spotty but the cabin had wifi so that made it possible to communicate with her mom and to send pics from our day. Elizabeth is friendly and was very responsive when we had questions. I highly recommend this cabin when u want a semi remote getaway in the woods.

We've settled in Snowshoe, WV but love the Summersville Lake area and couldn't resist buying this charming cabin. When we're not here enjoying the breathtaking scenery, we love opening our doors to travelers who want to experience the natural beauty and outdoor adventures this special corner of West Virginia has to offer.
