Avast, me hearties! The oceanfront awaits! When you see the cabin of this Lincoln City vacation rental, you won't want to weigh anchor anywhere else. Your eyes won't be able to decide which to admire more: the magnificent ocean view from the deck or the loving skill put into this rustic beach home.

This incredible two-bedroom A-frame is just two blocks from the beach at Lincoln City. Park up to two cars in your designated parking area and hit the decks!

From the gleaming elegance of its dark hardwood floors to the gorgeous granite counters and tile work, you'll be the captain of your Lincoln City getaway. Light floods the living area through the beachside wall of windows from floor to gable. Surrounded from stem to stern with beautiful wood paneling, this cozy space feels large and expansive, its atmosphere underscored by plush couches and an ornate decorative rug.

When you're not on the new deck enjoying the ocean air and the waves' rhythmic crashing on the beach, come inside and swap stories of voyages gone by over a Kahlua and coffee, all to the sounds of your favorite music on the CD player. After dinner, watch a movie on the DVD player or, if you must, do some work using the free fast WiFi.

You'll be hard-pressed to pull your cook from the galley of this charming home. Fully equipped with everything needed to feed a hungry crew, the kitchen is efficient and aesthetically pleasing with beautiful granite counters, intricate tile splashboards, and earthen tile floors. In addition to a big fridge, stove, and microwave, you'll find stainless steel sinks for easy cleanup and a coffee grinder for your favorite beans. Serve it up at the dining set for four, complete with amazing ocean views to enjoy with dessert! Or, head out to one of Lincoln City's 60 eateries where you can enjoy everything from crab to coq au vin.

Come bedtime, you and the mates —up to six of you—can choose between two bedrooms and two sofabeds in the living room. There is a double bed in each of the two bedrooms. Enveloped by knotted wood walls, the nautical decor reminds you of your proximity to the ocean outside. You'll also find a futon in the living room and a washer/dryer out in the garage, which sports renovations including a new door for easier access.

With seven miles of beautiful sandy beach outside, you could spend your whole vacation walking along the beach, watching the seabirds churn in the ocean breeze, building sandcastles, swimming, or flying kites. But there's lots more to do around Lincoln City. Dubbed the 'Miracle Twenty Miles,' Lincoln City is home to many shops, an outlet mall, and galleries where you can buy that souvenir or piece of art for the den.

Golfers can have their day at Salishan or Chinook Winds resorts, both less than 15 minutes from town; you can even tempt Lady Luck at Chinook Winds Casino as well! Anglers can cast their lines at Devil's Lake, which boasts nine species of freshwater fish. Or, do something really different and take a cooking class at the Culinary Institute or learn the art of glass blowing at Alder House Studio.

For a great time in exciting and colorful Lincoln City, dock your vessel and make this charming Northern Oregon Coast vacation rental your getaway!

Lovely view

Close beach access. Neat rustic older cabin. Loved being close to the water. The stairs would be difficult for people who or unsteady.

Unique Vacation Home

This a unique, old A-frame home. It was just right for us. The home needs some updating, but was suitable as is. It is right on the beach with great ocean views.

On the ocean

The view of the ocean was amazing!! Just a short walk to get to the beach was okay. The house was okay. Need better futons (zone was broken and very uncomfortable to sit on).Need to make sure that the pans, bowls, salad spinner etc…are clean for the next person who stays there—I had to wash them before I could use them.

Looks great in the pictures, but disappointing in person

This property is in a great location overlooking the beach on a cliff. Watching the ocean from the deck is relaxing. However, it is not maintained properly and most of the essentials does not work. The paint is peeling on the exterior. The floor sloped in places. None of the furniture matched and looks like they were purchased from a thrift store. Some are really worn or broken. Only the TV works. I could not get the other electronics to work with the remote. The window blinds are broken and missing parts. The doors do not close properly and the electronic lock did not work very well. I thought it was me not entering the correct code properly, buy this happened every single time we returned to the house. I had to enter the code multiple times before it would accept the 10-digit code. This is frustrating, especially when you are standing in heavy rain, trying to get in. Both electronic locks did the exact same thing, so you get double the frustration. There are only 3 built-in Cadet heaters. Two in the living room and one in the bathroom. One of the Cadet heaters in the living room is broken. One is not enough to heat the whole house. There are 2 space heaters provided for the bedrooms, but they are too small to do anything. Having proper built-in heaters would be better. It was so cold that I ended up buying a big space heater to help heat the house. Our stay would have been more enjoyable if we weren't distracted by all the issues around the house. I was very disappointed!

Very unique rustic cabin in the middle of a bunch of standard houses

The log cabin construction is what is really to like about this place. It's not a perfectly maintained freshly painted interior but rather the "wood on wood" look. It's rustic, and the layout is quite nice. The cons to this place is tall people often have to duck the A frame beams, and the upper bedroom has a beam that runs right over the bed. As a result, I bumped my head several teams. Also the appliances are fairly antiquated but function. It does add to the aesthetic. The view obviously is the best part. We didn't enjoy much of it due to a storm. The rain and wind can be quite loud when trying to sleep in this place, as the roof isn't insulated in terms of sound as much as a standard house. Overall, without the storm in mind it was a great stay. The beds aren't hard as rocks and the futons aren't bad.

Great stay

This place was perfect and simple. We loved the deck overlooking the ocean!!! I recommend this place for people without little ones as the steps to the loft are narrow. We stayed 4 nights and really liked the place.

Needs some improvement

This house in a great location but needs some updates and new mattresses/futons. The entire house slopes to one side, so much that the sliding glass door doesn't stay closed unless you lock it or use the provided stick to keep it closed. When we stayed there, we had an animal of some kind living in the walls/ceiling that would keep us up at night.

Beach house

What a view! Loved getting away and coming to this A frame. Our family had a great stay just wish the furniture was more comfortable. The couches/futons & beds felt like you were sitting or laying on springs.. barely any cushion. Other than that reasonable price for the view. Perfect family getaway spot

Great location, disappointing place

LOTS of room for improvement, much of which could be taken care of by having the place deep-cleaned and taking the time to fix everything that’s broken. Greasy fingerprints, pet hair, thick enough dust on the ceiling fan that we were afraid of accidentally turning it on, and cobwebs. The futons were dirty and lumpy and one of them was broken. We initially had three forks total for the five adults in our party. Bathroom shower was tiny and the toilet clogged. The beds are extremely firm. Communication with the host was okay until our power went out (only house in the neighborhood) on day 3/5 and after an hour on the phone with the power company it was clear that the bill was delinquent. I tried reaching Vacasa through VRBO (got responses from three different people five days later), the number I’d been communicating with, and the number on the sign and heard nothing back for over an hour as we waited to go get dinner out. The location itself was beautiful, but my 74-year-old mom would not have been able to walk down and back up the hill to the beach access as the home is on a cliff. The added stress of the experience was frustrating enough that I won’t rent from Vacasa again. And the fact that no offer of a reduced rate or any other accommodation was made after all of these complaints is ridiculous.

Worth the view

Bedroom is a bit cramped, but living space( well decorated!) is great, kitchen well equipped, view and deck awesome. Deck is not enclosed as I had been told( for pup), no dish towels, locks difficult to open and close, and Vacasa did not provide support to get tv to work in time for me to use it on 3 night stay. However, if you are all about the beach, I recommend this cute place.

Alright..

There was no extra sheets/blankets or even pillow cases to be able to use for the futons. They had extra pillows in one of the dressers but no pillow cases for them. So we had to raw dog the pillows which was kind of gross. The electrical in the kitchen was kind of iffy. The outlet made our phone chargers over heat and the stoves back burner didn't work. And the front large burner got red hot even on low and would'nt cool down so we couldn't really use the stove. No dishwasher so you have to hand wash all the dishes. It wasn't the best for how expensive it was. Great view of the ocean though. All the beds and furniture are very old and outdated. The stairs are a little scary too, so be careful on them.
