Our vacation stay at Patrick’s property was wonderful! The neighborhood was quiet and there is a lovely association area down the street on the water, which was quite relaxing. Easy check in, home was immaculate and had everything we needed. The outdoor shower was a bonus as well, especially loved how clean it was! Patrick was very prompt in getting back to us quickly, with any questions we had. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will be back again next year!Nina & Ron

Nice quiet place for a coastal getaway

The house was roomy and clean and is in a quiet neighborhood that's close to Ninigret Pond. We enjoyed a bunch of different activities during our stay. The best was being able to use the nearby dock to launch our rented kayaks for a day exploring the coves of Ninigret Pond. We'd definitely recommend staying here.

Family vacation

Patrick was very helpful and the property was in a nice location with a great backyard. Most of it was clean, there was some dog hair on the floors and couch. Sheets were supplied except for a couple of pillow cases. We enjoyed our stay.

A fantastic house in a quiet neighborhood

I've stayed in Charlestown for many 1 week vacations over the years, and Patrick's house was one of the nicest quiet properties I've been too in the region. No worry of rowdy renters next door and you can walk to the pond for a nice morning coffee. Definitely perfect for our stay with an elderly grandmother.

Convenient and peaceful

This was a week stay for my kids and I and a friend. The house was clean, well taken care of and the hair was very attentive to any needs.

Great family retreat!

Patrick is a most gracious host and the house fit all our needs! Nice quiet neighborhood, close to beaches, groceries and restaurants. We enjoyed grilling on the deck and roasting marshmallows over the fire pit. House was well stocked with amenities. We just wished we could stay longer!

Lovely home in a perfect location for a relaxing vacation! Plenty of activities for adults as well as kids of all ages beautiful beaches , and beautiful yard for a game of spikeball, horseshoes, bonfire and toasting marshmallows!! Great outdoor shower was an added bonus!!!!!!

Family vacation

Amazing week!

The house was very clean. Very spacious. The neighborhood was quiet! We had a very nice vacation, and Patrick the renter was very good at communication and helping us out with questions such as where should we get the best pizza! Could not be more pleased.

Extra space for family

Our stay was awesome! I have a cottage on the ocean but needed extra space for my daughter, son in law and 2 children. Children were 11 and 15! Air conditioning was awesome and easy access from route 1! We all enjoyed our stay! The host was the best part! He was easy to contact and very good to us!!

Summer beach family vacation 2024

For the last 15 years, I’ve taken my family on a summer beach vacation in southern RI, renting a home for a week or two and enjoying the beach and local foods with my family. This year didn’t disappoint, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 59 King Tom Dr, the beach, and the local fare. The house is situated on a quiet dead-end street with a large yard and back deck. The house has a large kitchen and living room, which we enjoyed watching movies and sharing meals together. The bedrooms were large and well appointed and provided comfortable accommodations for my family. I house is in a great location for those looking to explore and enjoy southern RI.

Quiet Beach / Boating / Exploring Access

We have stayed many, many years on Cape Cod and decided to try Charlestown, RI this year. This rental home was perfect in that it is located in a quiet neighborhood with great access to the beach, boating and nature. The landlord was very responsive to the few needs that we had. The house is clean with upgraded appliances. The new ductless air-conditioning system works well and the bedrooms will stay cool as long as the bedroom doors remain open. I would highly recommend that you consider this rental property. Charlestown is GREAT! No more Congested Cape for us!

Great

Great neighborhood that was close to everything and quiet area. having the washer and dryer on the first floor was very convenient. The mini split and AC in the kitchen kept the house cool. Only thing for me is the bedrooms did not get cool enough for me as I like it very very cold when I sleep. My wife and child where happy with the temp so I am just a little unique when it comes to bedroom temp. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay.

Great place for our family’s getaway

The property is in a quiet, pretty location, close to many beaches and other beautiful ponds and conservation areas. The back deck is private and the outdoor shower is very convenient. The WiFi was good - I was able to get good stable connection for work zoom calls. The kitchen is large and well equipped. The air conditioning in the main area was modern and we could keep the house at a comfortable temperature combined with the ceiling fans in the bedrooms. The bedrooms are spacious. We would have appreciated being able to use the garage for storage but understand owner’s choice to keep that area locked. Patrick was responsive and communicated well before, during and after the stay.

Clean and comfortable beach retreat

One word describes our trip to Patrick’s house in Charlestown - easy! The house was clean and comfortable, with plenty of space for our family, making it easy to relax and enjoy our beach vacation. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet, and the dock at the end of the street was a beautiful spot for a cocktail after a day at the beach. The house is in a great location - close to all the local beaches, some great restaurants and shops, and there’s even a liquor store a block away! Patrick was very easy to reach and answered all of my questions right away. He made it so easy to get in the house and made us feel right at home. The best part - the outdoor shower that’s nicer than most indoor ones! Overall, my family and I had a wonderful trip to Charlestown, thanks in large part to Patrick and his great house!

Patrick was a great host! He was easy to communicate with, and all directions were easy to understand. The amenities provided suited us perfectly! The location is conveniently located to Charlestown beaches and Port Judith for fun and relaxation.It all led to a great little getaway to relax before dropping our youngest off at URI.

We had a wonderful stay at this home! The location is outstanding—close to everything Charlestown has to offer, especially the beautiful beaches we love. The house was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing plenty of space for our family of four, with room to accommodate more guests if needed.The air conditioning was a huge plus and kept the home cool and comfortable throughout our stay.
