✧King Cabin - find out why it is the KING!

This luxurious log cabin was designed and built exclusively for couples. Whether you are a brand new couple or you've been together for 50 years, we'd love to have you spend time in our romantic cabin. We know how important it is to forget the stresses of everyday life and focus on each other... Our goal is to provide the perfect getaway cabin to help make this possible. This is the perfect place to unwind, relax, and fall in love all over again.

This cabin, referred to as 'The King', features an outdoor hot tub on a private deck with a privacy fence. There is a cozy gas log fireplace and all the lights are on dimmers to help set the mood for romantic time together. The bathroom features a custom tile shower for two. Step onto the heated tile floor and grab a fluffy warm towel from the towel warmer. A selection of romantic CD's is available for your enjoyment. Other amenities include a flat screen TV, washer & dryer, mood lighting, robes, and luxurious bed linens. This cabin has it's own free wi-fi so you can keep in touch with your loved ones.

King cabin is five minutes from skiing at Canaan Valley State Park, Timberline Resort and Whitegrass.

At Golden Anchor Cabins, we have eight honeymoon cabins to choose from; each cabin with its own unique style. We invite you to stay in each one as you celebrate milestones in your relationship or for other special occasions.

Our property is centrally located in the Potomac Highlands in West Virginia allowing you to roam across 'Wild and Wonderful' from the powerful Blackwater Falls and the wonderous Canaan Valley to the awe inspiring Seneca Rocks and Smokehole Caverns. Our cabins are a short drive from cities such as Pittsburgh, PA, Columbus OH, Baltimore MD, Morgantown WV, Winchester VA and Washington DC taking you through year-round scenic wilderness.

All of our cabins have central air, smart TVs, high speed internet, a full kitchen and a charcoal grill. We strive to provide elegant, upscale cabin accommodations for all of our guests. Therefore, smoking and pets are not permitted.

This is one of eight cabins we own and operate in Canaan Valley West Virginia under the business Golden Anchor Cabins.

Excellent cabin with amenities, easy check in, great for a getaway when you want to pack light. Close to all the outdoorsy things and with a private hot tub for when you’ve overdone it hiking. Spectacular array of fireflies pour from the grass in early July. Bathrooms have heated floors and a heated towel rack, which was a nice bonus.

Truly were impressed with the King Cabin. It’s located close to many outdoor hiking and sightseeing locations and also several great dining options. The kitchen was well stocked and the cabin was incredibly clean. Enjoyed the hot tub and the bathroom was quite luxurious (heated floor, heated towel rack and the awesome tiled double shower)! Would definitely consider returning.

This cabin is a true luxury retreat for couples. They thought of everything...double shower, heated towel rack and bathroom floor, hot tub, fireplace! We enjoyed our stay and hope to return.
