Amazing Vacation

Beautiful resort with plenty to do for kids. We adults had a great time too. The condo was everything that we needed.

Great family destination

Larry was very helpful and available. The wyndham staff was also quick to help. Kingsgate has a number of nice amenities for kids onsite and its located close to many of the major attractions. A great trip all around

April 2024

Traveling with 3 senior adults, this 3 bedroom/3 bath condo met our needs for space and privacy. Our unit(s) were well maintained and the kitchen had everything needed for cooking. Bring your own aluminum foil, plastic wrap,etc. There were a wide variety of activities available on the property and it is in a great location for going to Historic Williamsburg.

Great decision

I had concerns when I originally booked. This is an older resort and usually when this happens it's a hit or miss when it comes to maintenance and cleanliness. I was pleasantly surprised as to the cleanliness and the upkeep. I will definitely book the resort again in the future.

Hi Vincent. Glad the resort did NOT live down to your expectations and that the resort merits a revisit. Whenever I have stayed at a Wyndham, the staff has always gone out of their way to make my stay a pleasant one. And when something breaks, maintenance is there to address the issue in a couple of hours or sooner. Word has it that the buildings are on a 5 year or so rotation for renovation so the much used interior by hundreds of different families does get a periodic makeover. Kingsgate is one of my favorites. Love that all of the amenities are within a softball pitch of each other and not half a mile apart. An addition since I was there last is the free gameroom for the youngins. And what more can one say about how great Williamsburg is? Hope we can work together to get you back to Kingsgate or to any of the other fine Wyndham resorts. Larry

The unit was clean and comfortable. We used the kitchen for breakfast and light meals. The only complaint was that the dishwasher did not clean the dishes well at all and we washed the dishes by hand. The shower head in the main bathroom was less than desirable and a toilet seat was coming off. A quick call to maintenance, and all was fixed. The unit is in need of some updates but over all very suitable for our stay. We did not use the amenities as our days were busy. The restaurant was adequate when needed. Checkin was easy and swift.

Wonderful stay from start to finish! The condo was spacious and clean. Comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, and a lovely balcony. Clear communication from the host and thoughtful touches made us feel right at home. Prime location with easy access to everything we wanted to do. Highly recommend and would gladly return!

Excellent value - Facilities Above Average

Larry was very helpful in finding the correct condo for us for this visit to Williamsburg. The Patriots’ Place staff was friendly and did not badger us for meeting attendance. Cooking equipment and dishes were adequate but it would have been nice to have a few additional pieces.

Best customer service ever

The property was amazing. They had plenty of cleaning and safety regulations for COVID. Larry the property manager was wonderful. He is prompt with his responses and so helpful when we wanted to add a day to our stay. I contacted him at 1000 at night and by 1100 he had arrange for our extra day. Definitely will book again amd highly recommend.

Amazing

Had an excellent first experience, all staff were exception and went above and beyond. Will definately stay again. Very clean, well managed, when you asked for something they delivered to you, property and landscape was very very nice and anytime you called up front they were eager to help you out. Will look for Wyndham Resorts in other locations we stay before staying in another hotel!!

Great stay!

It was a great location with access to pretty much anything. Our only negative experience was that our AC kept messing up. The staff was very fast to come over and fix it.

Kingsgate Williamsburg

The property was beautiful and it was perfect for our needs. We rent it a three bedroom lockout unit for two families with kids. The property was very clean and the kids loved the amenities like the pool and arcade. The only issue we had was that we could not check into one of our units until 6 p.m. which was a bummer

Awesome stay at Kingsgate!!

Wyndham Kingsgate was amazing!! The room was very large, clean, and comfortable. Amenities were outstanding. There are 3 swimming pools, miniature golf course, tennis courts, arcade games, pool tables, and more. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks Larry for the wonderful stay!!

One of top family vacations

The place was great. Had everything right there in resort. Don’t have to leave the place if you don’t want to. Larry was awesome. Had us next to the activity center. Which was awesome being we have 3 kids 2 which are 5 and under. Will definitely be contacting him again in the future and have recommended him to a friend of mine.
