PRIVATE BOAT LAUNCH for small crafts... .... 4 KAYAKS.. for the guests to use..Come relax in our charming, CLEAR canal-front home just a 5 minute paddle to the weeki wachee river!!!!!!!!!The home is just off the crystal clear Weeki Wachee River, with easy access to Rogers Park and the Gulf of Mexico - by boat, kayak or float tube! Just steps from a freshwater canal with your own private dock and boat ramp for fishing and swimming - bring your boat ( smaller craft are suitable )and launch it onsite or rent one from the nearby marina. This canal is nearly clear water not murky like other canals!!!!

The house is recently remodeled and bright with a fully-equipped kitchen, dining room, and a spacious living room with sliding glass doors opening onto the sundeck, where you will enjoy relaxing and dining outside - while watching for the manatee, otters, and abundant birdlife that visit frequently. ... There is a grill for the guest to use or enjoy sitting by the firepit......Please inquire about ya pets...The local restaurants are within 10 minutes.....

There is easy access about 10 minutes to Bayport, Hernando Beach, Pine Island Beach, and 20 minutes to Aripeka with its artist community.

Quite, relaxing and convenient to many kayaking locations.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Neighborhood was quite and located close to several great kayaking locations. Also enjoyed sunsets at the nearby Pine Island Park. Will definitely stay here again!

Great spot!

Even better than pictured. Very comfortable and clean. The house had everything we needed. The kayaks available really made the stay exceptional. Everyone in the group (from age 4 - 67) had a great time. Would definitely come again.

We LOVE WeekiWachee

This is a great location within the WeekiWachee Gardens. This cottage is on a peaceful canal, a quick paddle to the main river. We were in our kayaks daily: upstream to the state park and downstream to hospital hole, where you are guaranteed to see manatee. We really enjoyed our stay here. Mandy & Johnathan were quick to respond to our queries. This is REAL Florida! No need to go to Disney World. Let me see manatee any day over MickeyMouse:)

Weeki Wachee kayaking

The location on the canal was perfect- along with the boat access directly to the water. The river water was comparable to the Caribbean! Summer went above & beyond her duties as property manager. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Great location to explore the area! Can't wait to return...

A Little Piece of Heaven!

We’ve been coming to this house since 2013. It’s a home from home. The house is very clean and has everything you need. Grocery stores are close by, it has four single kayaks(all new), and one double kayak (great condition), new flooring and new beds. The neighborhood is super quiet too. We will be back again!! Spring break getaway

We had such a fun time! The house was perfect for our party of 7. The kayaks were the bonus of the property. We enjoyed the fire pit, fishing off the dock, paddling up to the springs, jumping off the dock and swimming, and the company. This was a perfect long weekend for spring break. We are already talking about going back. Don’t forget the bug spray! Sadly, we did not see a manatee this trip but that makes us want to come back more. Easy check in process and everything we needed to cook was there. We would 100% recommend this stay for anyone looking for some outdoor fun!

Amazing Place

This home was an absolute find. We felt so comfortable being able to live as we would in our own home. Something you can't do in a Hotel. Immaculate from the cleanliness to the ease of access. Major bonus being able to use the boat ramp to launch and park our personal kayaks. My son hooked the neighbors boat while fishing. The boat owner came out and helped him out. She was so kind to him. The whole place and surrounding area was great. I didn't want to go home. We will definitely be back again. Thank you for providing such great little getaway.

Amazing vacation

We have been coming here every year since 2013. We had an amazing vacation. Summer (the property manager), could not have been more accommodating. We had an issue with the garbage disposal, and Summer had it fixed within a few hours. She is simply awesome !! We kayaked every day. We also rented paddle boards. We brought a floating lily pad with us and tied it to the dock, everyone swam right off the dock. This has become a special home for us over the years. Thanks again Mandy and Jon for sharing your River House with us. We consider you family ❤️ Carolyn and family

We’ve been coming to this place for years

We love this property. We have been coming back every summer for years. Manatees, birds, we’ve seen a small gator in the past and this time, a lost dolphin. Also, the jumping, slapping fish are mullet and are very entertaining- especially when they almost land in your kayak. The canals are so peaceful and the river is beautiful. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to not have to eat out all the time. The charcoal grill is great for cooking fish from Trader Bay and steaks. The Italian restaurant at the corner is intimate and very good and now Boston style lobster rolls at the Hernando marina will be a must. Note that the Winn Dixie sells lunch meat that they roast there and get the Cuban bread and the deli pickles for sandwiches better than subway. Our kids have grown up coming to this river and kayaking. Every minute is peaceful and beautiful even during summer showers and we will keep coming back every year!

Perfectly Memorable

My family came in from Minnesota and stayed here. It was so peaceful and perfect for the entire stay. We had manatees and dolphins playing at the dock daily. Kayaking adventures in the beauty of the Weeki Wachee River were amazing! The house was simply perfect, already talking about booking another stay.

Nice stay on canal

The property is well furnished for those who enjoy cooking at home. The master is big with plenty of room and the second bedroom has two beds. We enjoyed having our morning coffee on the deck and saw manatee come up to the dock. The place was clean. The furniture in the living room was a little uncomfortable. So we watched TV in the bedroom. WiFi reception came in and out. Nice stay overall.
