The apartment was situated in a location that made it easy to walk to many attractions in the city. If you like to explore by foot, Independence Park was about a mile away, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art was about a mile and a half away. Reading Terminal Market and City Hall were only blocks away. It is close to public transportation stops as well. The entrance to the apartment is located on a small one-way street that's more like an alley. The advantage is that you don't have the traffic noise of a major street, but you also don't have foot traffic. We did not encounter any problems during our stay but not sure I would have felt comfortable if I was coming in at night alone, but I live in the suburbs. There is a surface parking lot across the street that you enter from the next street over as it is fenced in. You can see your vehicle from the apartment.The host was quick to respond to questions.Make sure you note that the apartment is on the second floor so there are steps. Also, it is an interior apartment so there are windows in the front bedroom and they've cut a window into the top of living room wall so that natural light comes in but there aren't other windows.
