Beautiful location with a one minute walk to be on the beach. Our family had a great time together.House is older. Needs updating in the kitchen and secondary bathrooms. Thus the good nightly price. Cleaning was not up to par as we had to wash one set of sheets (somebody else's hair), and clean a toilet which had not been. Generally, the house had not been deep cleaned in a while. Bigger concerns were the dishwasher that started, but never ran a cycle. It appeared that black mold was growing on the kitchen plumbing wall shared with the Florida room.It would be worth spending a little more on a rental fee with a well maintained and managed home. It's a great location.
The house was amazing and provided all the accommodations we needed. Being close to downtown was really nice and provided an ideal location for the area.
We had an amazing time and it was much closer to the beach then we thought!!! Check in was easy, communication was great and we enjoyed our stay immensely! Will definitely book again when we visit the area - which is fast becoming our favorite area to visit!!!
Very easy rental and check in process. Property could use updates. Mattresses on twin beds very uncomfortable, to the point we went and bought an air mattress after first night. Also couldn’t use sunroom as it isn’t air conditioned.
The location of the home was perfect to the beach, just minutes down from Publix and only 10-15 minutes from the City Gates of St. Augustine. The house was extremely clean and had plenty of space for a big family. This being said the house is older, sections of the floor on the second level dip and in the room with the two twin beds gives a lot at the entrance of the room. The balcony off the second floor seemed unstable; we didn’t feel 100% about it, so we didn’t use it. The beds were not comfortable, they were clearly older spring mattresses. Overall, the owners/property management keep the house extremely clean and for the cost we would stay again.

Hi Samantha we are grateful that you visited us and that you provided us with insightful input. We are happy to know that your stay with us was great. We value your feedback that we can do better, and we will forward any worries about bed comfort to our management team for review. We appreciate your stay and hope to have you again soon.
We so enjoyed the proximity of this home and yes it felt very homey and comfy. We were able to see the ocean from the balcony upstairs off the 2 bedrooms . Bedroom 3 is on the other side of the house. It took a minute walk to get my toes in the sand and the ocean. You can walk to Publix its so close. The rooms are a nice size and there is plenty of seating in the living room and the sun room. There are resturants nearby. You are right across the bridge from the old jail and we were able to park in the free lot and jump on the trolley for tours. We were also also able to get to the parking lot next to down town St. Augustine without having to drive in all the traffic to park. They had a Kerig and a regular coffee pot. I would give it a 5 but the home needs some updating, but to honest that did not bother us, it was clean and maintained. The price was right. I would stay here again.

Birthday Wknd Vacay
Property is outdated but clean. Proximity to beach is great. Restaurants in area close early and most don't take reservations. There was no hair dryer in unit as advertised. Bathtub and shower VERY small. AC didn't work. Called property manager and was told technician would be sent immediately. Called 1 1/2 hour later only to be told that they were waiting on the owner to approve a call to the technician. It was 81 degrees in the unit and we had not been there all day!! Was offered a forced move to a hotel but this was a very short weekend trip (2 nights) with our sons and at 6:30 p.m. the last thing we wanted to do was waste the rest of our vacation packing up to move to a hotel and unpacking again. We would have required 3 hotel rooms so we requested a credit for 1 night stay instead - probably less expensive than 3 hotel rooms. Was told someone would get back to us. It's been 7 days and we have not heard a word! At this point, would not recommend VRBO or VACASA.

Outdated. Kinda a bummer.
House is meh… Extremely outdated.Dripping main floor vent every time the upstairs toilet is flushed. Eek! Huge disappointment Can’t hear the ocean at all. Just street noise. Can see a sliver of the ocean through the houses on the end if you stand on the deck. Not as nice as advertised or what the photos show. Garage parking is difficult, very low ceiling. Very dated - popcorn ceiling, uneven flooring, dirty vents…Difficult to get in - lock instructions not clear and confusing. Long code for front door and separate key for the awkward door into the garage where the washer and dryer are. Rusted floor vents.Bubbled bathroom wall/paint. Dated coiled mattress in twin room. Needs new mattresses. When we stripped the beds (as per property management request) we noticed that ALL the pillows were stained and/or ripped. Thin scratchy towels. Not plush. But did supple beach towels by the door. Not stocked with basics. No coffee, tea, sugar… dirty coffee pot and teapot. Fridge is new…but too big for the space. Odd. Really strange layout and Art and furniture choices. No idea where the tennis court or gym is that’s advertised in description…maybe they have a connection with the resort down the street???Walking distance to food and coffee and groceries. Seems like a cute decent mostly quiet neighborhood. Proximity to the beach is nice. We loved walking along the beach at sunset and sunrise. Unfortunately, won’t be back to this location. Would be a great vacation invest
