Great couples' getaway!

Recently constructed 1250 sq. ft. single story beautifully appointed cottage, just steps to the beach.

Miles of beaches to walk, run or just sit in place and enjoy. Grocery stores, restaurants and shops a 5-minute walk away. Or, a 5-minute drive into the heart of St. Augustine, a charming Old World town filled with historic sites, unique restaurants, museums and art galleries.

If you're a fitness buff this is a perfect place to park your car and walk or bike.

Our weather is usually great all year round, but should there be a little rain, wind or cold in the forecast it shouldn't spoil your visit. Adjust your attire accordingly.

St. Augustine is great regardless of the weather!





Cottage comes equipped with 3 flat screen TVs and cable service (over 200 channels), WiFi internet service, Blu-ray Player, and Apple TV. Outside back patio with grill, table and chairs.

We always love staying at Driftwood! The location is ideal, quiet and so close to the beach. The cottage is open, roomy and comfortable. It feels like home, just closer to the beach:).

This cottage is super clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is well supplied for making meals in which was very convenient with the Publix in walking distance. The shed had fun things for the beach, such as umbrella, chairs and boogie boards. It is located just a few easy steps from the beach.This was a perfect girls' getaway and would highly recommend!

The house was just as described. The walk to the beach was super close and the beach was never crowded. Scott was awesomeI messaged asking if there was a steam pot there that I was missing. Replied fast said there was not, but he could get one, he was at the door within an hour. Great experience all around.

Great Beach getaway

Beautiful cottage that feels spacious and very comfortable. Great location with easy drive to downtown area. Quick walk over the grassy sand dune to Vilano beach. Scott was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our three days there.

Spacious, comfortable and lovely decor in a nautical/beach theme. Clean as a whistle. Close to a lovely beach which is about 100 yards away. Will be back for a longer stay. Thank you Scott!

Family Trip

This is a very nice little cottage, immaculate, nicely decorated, all the amenities you need. Great location, close to beach and shopping. We completely enjoyed our time here. The only drawback is the parking situation, 3 cottages on the property, (all were rented while we were there) but parking for really only 2 cars and street parking can be tricky since the street is a public beach access road.

Wonderful place to bring a family.

This house is absolutely gorgeous, my wife our kids and myself were blown away. Plenty of room for at least 6, we have friends in St Augustine and their kids spent one night with us and the house is big enough for everyone to be comfortable and the adults still have their privacy. We had an issue with the a/c, I contacted the property owner and the issue was taken care of the same day. A short walk to the beach, very close to grocery store and restaurants. Private yet still close to plenty of tourist locations. We plan to return to this house in the future, a truly special place for a family vacation or a couple looking for some rest and relaxation.

Amazing family getaway.

So many good things about this property. Location was great, steps to the beach. Minutes to drive back to town. A quick 10 minute drive to some nice trails for a morning run too. Cottage feels very secluded even next A1A hwy. Never noticed the traffic when inside. Very nice beach. Always plenty of room when we went down to the water. Sandy and a good amount of seashells to hunt for. When we arrived the was a welcome basket, my youngest enjoyed the specialty bread and butter while we were there. Outdoor shower was nice after being at the beach, the whole family loved using boogie boards as well. Finally plenty of room for our family of 4 to spread out inside the cottage. Was a great place for a summer family vaction.

Driftwood Cottage

This is a honeymoon dream home away from home! Me and my spouse enjoyed our stay on Vilano Beach in St. Augustine FL. If we ever had questions or needed anything, the host/staff was helpful to answer and assist. The walk to the beach is only steps away from the shore. This place is more spacious than what the pictures depict. The only recommendation I suggest for improvement for a couples getaway stay is replacing the queen bed with a king sized bed (the queen bed is confortable though and me and my husband enjoyed "sleeping" in it). 😉 There is also a Publix down the road just a minute or so drive away and to get to downtown St. Augustine it takes an average of 12-20 minutes (depending on traffic). Also the host/staff provided a notebook for guests to write down how their stay was at the cottage and we made sure to write in this notebook for our stay during 05/28-06/02/2023. We were not able to figure out how to use the Fujicamera that was provided for guests to take pictures to add to the notebook (when the pictures printed the camera did not produce an image on the photo cards). We look forward to staying at this place within the next year or so!

Beautiful cottage! It was, in person, just as pictured. Scott and owners were very attentive and quick to answer questions. We needed help with internet and were there immediately to help. Beach was so close and you didn't have to cross any streets to get to it. It was wonderful to have all beach equipment and towels. Will definately stay here again. Thank you Scott!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house in only a couple hundred feet from the public beach entrance. The host was quick to respond to us and quite kind. There is an outdoor shower and hose to use after the beach on the property. We are already thinking about our next visit.
