I would absolutely visit Arizona again just to stay at this wonderful home. The pictures do not do it justice… definitely one of the more unique places I’ve ever stayed. Hosts were amazing too!
Can’t beat the view any time of day or night. The huge cactus by the hot tub are amazing. Even though it was hot outside we enjoyed using the hot tub in the early morning. If you use CPAP you should bring an extension cord. Would definitely rent again.
Excellent location in Phoenix. Wife and I went for a romantic, private getaway and that’s exactly what we got. The views were great from the windows and the decks. We enjoyed a nice breeze the entire time. The driveway is gated so there is no chance of surprise guests. The house is as described. It’s cozy.
We had a great time at the Margarita. It was the perfect size for me, my wife, and our dog. It was close to many amenities, but still felt private. The hot tub was absolutely fantastic.
Very quaint house with crazy view. Owners are great. The driveway is not for the faint of heart - know that you drive to the VERY end. Go the first time in daylight and don’t ask the neighbor just inside the gate for help.
Such a wonderful property and it was everything and more the description promised! The high views and the hot tub experience in the evening were marvelous. Wonderfully decorated, clean and charming location. Thank you!
Host is easy to deal with and effective and clear with instructions and providing directions. The place was better than shown in the pictures - it feels bigger. The location is private and was a great space to unwind at the end of the day. My only recommendation would be: the mattress was ready for an update. I would book with this host again.
This was unexpected and delightful, we arrived at nite, the switch backs up were daunting!! The View was simply amazing, yery cute home with comfortable bed. Try it!!
Definitely has view for miles. This stay is not for those affraid of heights as the road to the house is very steep and narrow with hair pin turns. But if you can get past that Fran's places don't disappoint. This was our second stay in her homes and once again loved it. Highly recommend and we will be back.
You really can’t do better than this! This property is phenomenal!

Overall good
The drive up is very scary I will start by saying that. It is incredibly steep, very sharp turns and I was worried multiple times my car would not make it. After getting up to the gate and realizing I was not given a gate opener I luckily found a neighbor who lead me to the owners house. I was not given any information about a gate opener prior to check in and my vrbo messages were unanswered. I was given the gate code and house code then drove up the again scary drive just to realize the code for the house was incorrect. After driving down to their house again since I had no phone # I was finally able to get into the house. Beyond all of this stress the house is beautiful and our stay was great. I just wish I had some warning! Also no WiFi at the house and not great phone service

This house is the 3rd highest house in Phoenix and you have to go up the mountain to get to it. Here is what we have written on this website " Take a safe, short journey upward through the mountainous terrain into the natural setting, a single road to the top with sharp turns." We also have this in our descriptions "Wifi is available upon request during your initial reservation. Password is on wifi screen when you scroll on it." So I am guessing she didn't read about the house. She did call and ask about the wifi and my husband took one up to her immediately. Unfortunately she did not receive the check in information. I had sent it but I discovered my computer was not sending or receiving anything for 1 1/2 days. I did apologize for the inconvenience it presented. My cleaning people thought there was a party, of which I told her no parties. But it wasn't anything that would stop me from renting from her again and would welcome her back.
The road up with 3 switchbacks was well worth the view. It’s peaceful and perfect for two people. The owner communicated quickly and responded quickly when we didn’t know we had to ask for a WiFi box ahead of time. The kitchen is moderately stocked. They have a Mr. Coffee and had some ground coffee waiting for us! If you like firm pillows, no need to bring your own. We watched the sunrise from the top of the lane, sunsets from the deck and hot air balloons from the living room chair. We had no issues with hot water or the AC. . It was a lovely stay.
