Spacious Home with Amazing Views

This home exceeded all my expectations. Gourmet kitchen, comfy beds, lovely linens and towels. Games, puzzles, large TVs and good internet. The spacious porch and master bedroom balcony offer amazing views. Everything is walkable from the Opera House to the Friday farmers market and several restaurants. We hardly used the car! 44 North Coffeehouse and the library offer extra workspace. This house will be an annual retreat for my family.

Exactly as Advertised

Property was exactly as described, well stocked, clean, beautifully decorated and a short walk to town. Stonington is a charming small town perfect for nature lovers and Maine enthusiasts. Burnt Cove Lobster Boil was a highlight of our stay.

Comfortable & cute, wonderful location

Harbor Vista has nice porches on both the upper and lower levels, and the upper one especially has great views across charming Stonington Harbor. It is an easy walk to town shops, restaurants, and the iconic 44 North Coffee cafe. Also easy walking to rent kayaks or take the Isle au Haut ferry. The National Register Opera House is just a block away, and features some delightful music programs during the summer. The owners have a fun touch with nautical decor, and the kitchen is well stocked, and has excellent cookware. It is a simple, easy layout, one big first floor living area of kitchen, dining and leather sofa living room areas; also a full bath on that floor. Second floor has 3 bedrooms and one full bath with 2 sinks. The basement has a large TV watching area, separate from the good laundry area with washer & dryer. All in all, a neat, easy going, comfortable home with bonus views and easy access to town. This is our 3rd time renting it, and we plan to return regularly. The Island Agency staff are terrific.

Fabulous vacation at Harbor Vista

This is a terrific house and we had a wonderful stay. Everything imaginable is provided for, especially in the kitchen- hi end frig, stove & dishwasher. Cooks will love this place. The 1st & 2nd floor terraces have beautiful views out of the harbor towards Isle Au Haut. Snappy internet, large washer/ dryer. The basement recr room has, I believe, a whopping 75' tv, DVD player & cable service. We are outdoorsy people so didn't use it much but good to know it's available for evening entertainment. Highly recommend HV & the house was immaculate when we arrived. Only nit was the driveway clearance is a little narrow but other than that a 4* house.
