The house itself was very nice but the yard is the size of a postage stamp. Moreover, the neighborhood was so bad that we were afraid to stay at the house and we left to stay at a hotel.

Photos of property showed empty lot. Called VRBO 2days prior to express concern. Then Host sent me to wrong property. Property in low income neighborhood with people congregating at one end of street near bar. Street noise during night is a real problem. Bath tub doesn’t drain. No provisions for food prep. Cabinets are too high - had to get step ladder to retrieve dishes.

Graduation Weekend

New...House was very nice... small and cozy. Stocked well with plates, glasses, cooking utensils, etc. Neighborhood is old and less than desirable but appears to be refurbishing as new houses are everywhere. A nice place to sleep and drop in and out during a busy graduation weekend.

Worst neighborhood

Do not book this house if you would like to stay in a safe neighborhood. As we pulled up to the house there was a liquor store at the corner with tons of men hanging out outside and in front of the property smoking and drinking. The surrounding area is dark and dilapidated and is no place for a vaction rental. After leaving the property without going inside because my wife and children were frightened as we pulled up to the house, it took Vacasa and VRBO 3 hours to resolve the situation. The first time i spoke to someone fron Vacasa on the phone was after 2 hours and VRBO has to get a hold of them. Their intial responce was to demand proof before trying to help in any way. I did not speak to a domestic rep until 9:30 pm with a resolution. To avoid a terrible area, an unresponsive host, and a terrible time, do not book this listing, regardless of how "new" it is.
