We had a lovely visit! Some of the appliances, etc., are a bit dated but the house is cozy and comfortable and in a really fantastic location. Everything we needed for 5 kids and 4 adults!

Beds not made. Stovetop not clean. Dog hair visible. Dishes put up dirty, one glass had mold on it. Nicely decorated but could stand a few updares.

The location of the house was great on a quiet residential street. The house has a musty/moldy smell (I realize it is 200 years old so maybe that was what I should have expected). The floors were so dirty the water ran black when we took our showers. Furniture was a hodge podge grouping of well-worn and not clean pieces. Amenities listed a gas grill. Instead we had a very dirty/moldy charcoal grill (unusable). Lawn furniture was so dirty we couldn't take advantage of the cozy patio. The iron did not work. Kitchen was poorly stocked. There were few plates, glasses, cups etc and what were there were mismatched, chipped, cracked... the cookware was a collection from a yard sale.

Thank you for being our guest and taking the time to share your feedback. We're truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet expectations. Our local manager noted that the floors are very old wooden floors that have to be treated with care and housekeeping has been notified of the cleanliness issue. The grill was inspected and is usable, but we’re sorry for any problems you had with it. A new iron will be placed in the home and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We hope you will allow us the chance to provide you with a truly exceptional vacation experience in the future.
