Stay in Villa Pruneto

The location of the villa was super! Perfect for a silent & calm stay! The pool gave a big fun & the grill area with a pizza oven! The house with five rooms was ideal for us (10 people), and we cold slept without air-condition quite good as well!

A truely wonderful place!

We spent a lovely two weeks in this beautiful house! Monica was super responsive to all our questions in the weeks before our trip and her fresh pasta was such a delicious treat! The house itself is perfect for a family holiday, hidden in the woods but a short drive from Poppi and its restaurants. It has everything one needs and is very comfortable, the stunning views from the pool are an added bonus! We hope to come back soon!

Wunderbare Tage mit Outdoor Küche am Pool

We felt very welcome and well cared for - almost like visiting good friends or family. Monica is such a good host. The house and garden are well kept and completly private with nice views of the valley of Poppi. We were a party of 10 (2 kids) and there was sufficient space for everybody. It was a great treat to be able to cook and bake outside which allowed us wonderful evenings dining out just beside the pool. We can recommend the house to anynone who likes Tuscany and wants to explore the eastern part of this beautiful region - there is not too much tourism, even in high season. The medieval castle of Poppi - although not mentioned in most travelleres guides - is really worth visiting; so is the monastery in the woods about 15 km away from the house, where you can purchase for example jam, oil and herbal teas.

Hat alles gepasst. Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und haben uns Essen gebracht! Hier hat man seine Ruhe, das Haus ist recht abgeschieden und hat eine schöne Aussicht auf Poppi und das Castellion. Sehr zu empfehlem für eine Reise mit Freunden oder Familie.

Relaxing & well looked after

Monica made it all very easy to arrive, check in & really enjoy the week. Homemade pasta & sauce were lovely. The house easy to live in & the pool being so close made for a very relaxing stay. Thank you

Great villa for friends

Our group of 8 had a great time T this property. Everything we wanted was provided and extra (pasta on arrival and pizza dough) Monica was a brilliant host and the outside eating area/bbq/pizza oven is brilliant. The only downside was that we were not aware that electricity and gas were not included in the price of the reservation.

Sehr schön, aber "abgewohnt"

Uns hat das Haus und Grundstück sehr gut gefallen, sind aber durch die vielen Mängel sehr enttäuscht. Der Spülmaschinenkorb war defekt, Ameisen waren in der Küche. Die Couch im Wohnzimmer war stark verbraucht, die Poolbeleuchtung ging auch nicht. Die Duschkabinen in beiden Bädern waren undicht, so dass wir jedes Mal nach dem Duschen putzen mussten. Das sogenannte behinderte gerechte Bad ist keins, weil man mit dem Rollstuhl nicht in die Dusche und nach dem Türöffnen nicht zum Waschbecken kommt. Der Wasserdruck in den Bädern ist sehr niedrig. Aussage der Mieterin: Bei guter Bewertung bekommt lhr hundert Euro zurück. ( Wir haben es nicht getan) Fazit: Für diesen Preis kann man viel mehr erwarten, was wir eigentlich so gewohnt sind.

Un giorno in pieno relax.

Di passaggio inToscana non abbiamo resistito al desiderio di ritornare nel Casentino, almeno per un giorno, ospiti della famiglia Mattoni, nella loro residenza immersa nel bosco "Villa Le Balze, comoda ed accogliente, curata nei dettagli e dotata di tutti i comfort. Abbiamo trascorso una magnifica giornata di sole in piscina in pieno relax, coccolati dalle apprezzate attenzioni della Signora Monica : ravioli rigorosamente fatti a mano ricotta e spinaci e ciambellone al nostro arrivo. Magnifica esperienza da consigliare.

BELLISSIMO !

What a lovely place, a very hospitable owner and a beautiful surrounding. We wanted with good friends to enjoy the Italian live and we really got what we wanted. Beautiful weather, a great house with a nice swimming pool, an outside fireplace/BBQ and pizza oven. Extra was that the owner surprised us with a home baked cake upon our arrival and offered us several times with home made pasta and pizza dough. We will never forget this vacation and will srely come back to Villa Le Balze or any of the other homes that this owner has. Mille grazie M

Perfekt!!!

Der Urlaub (2 Kinder, 8 Erwachsene) war perfekt! Das lag zum einen an der Ansprechpartnerin Monica (Vielen Dank für alles!) die im Vorfeld bereits alles organisierte, zum anderen an dem sehr schönen Haus! Dies liegt in einer sehr schönen ruhigen Gegend mit einem tollen Blick auf die Stadt Poppi. Monica hat noch einige sehr positive Überraschungen parat: Brötchenservice, Pizzateig ... Wer einen tollen unvergleichlichen Urlaub machen möchte, sollte diese Destination buchen! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder! Dirk (+ friends)
