The check in was fast. Thank goodness i called ahead cause i didnt know we had to register my vehicle so we could park in the parking garage. Bet they walked me straight through it and made it easy. Our place was absolutely beautiful with stunning views. Lots of space. Would love to stay at this location next time we visit.

We found the overall experience to be disappointing based on numerous past visits to the panhandle. The resort overall needs updating and the passageways to the condos were dirty. Even though we arrived in the slower season the elevators were so slow that we waited up to 20 minutes from the 20th floor. This experience negatively impacts the notion of being “right on the beach”; we could’ve stayed a few blocks away and walked to the beach faster and for less money. Only three elevators were functioning and one of them reeked of vomit and pee. We never rode the third one because it never arrived. Evidently they’re redoing the elevators and hopefully they will have dedicated elevators for different floors or whatever because at least 50% of the time if the elevator did stop we couldn’t get in because it was full with luggage racks and people - coming and going. Also, resort and parking fees were not clearly evident at the time of booking (on VRBO). We didn’t even get to use a single resort amenity because we evacuated about 16 hours after check-in, and most of that was overnight while we slept. (It took us longer to drive there and back - no shade to anyone about the hurricane - that was an act of nature). And, we had to pay extra resort fees to cover more guests and parking, even though it was just my hubby and me and one car.The beach in front of the resort is narrow, so we had to navigate three volleyball games and multiple “tents”. We did get hit by a volleyball.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I’m sorry the dirty passageways, elevator delays and condition, and unexpected fees made your stay disappointing; especially with your evacuation so soon after check-in. We understand that a hurricane is beyond anyone’s control, but your concerns about the resort and parking fees being unclear at booking are important, and we’ll share them with the appropriate teams. We’ll also pass along your feedback about the elevators, common areas, and beach setup to the Laketown HOA. We appreciate you taking the time to provide these details.
