Overall it was fine - good location for getting around but it is on a very busy (and noisy) street. As a solo female traveler, I didn't love that there aren't any curtains/shades on the kitchen (which also looks into living room). And although it advertises air conditioning, there is no AC in the bedroom - only living room. It was hot for sleeping, so be forewarned if summer!

Clean, very comfortable, well stocked home. Convenient to food, fun, and nature. Well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, and nicely decorated made for a very enjoyable holiday visit with family. Definitely will be back.

The Tech House was clean and comfortable. For a 2 bedroom house, it is roomy. Communication with Kim was quick and efficient. The house is on a very busy street. That location makes it a good starting point for travel through Houghton and beyond. That location also makes it noisy during the day and evening with road noise. It quieted down considerably at night. The kitchen is stocked with tableware for only 4 people and minimal cooking supplies. If you're not eating in, this isn't a problem. There are a few places within the home that need updates, but everything functioned well and was clean.
