Lovely property with decent location

The condo was as advertised, about 25 minutes drive from Tulum Centro. There aren't a lot of amenities outside of the property. Beautiful furnishings - the entire TAO property lovely. We got a chance to enjoy the pool and had access to a beach club about 5 minutes drive. The staff I met were courteous and always willing to help, particularly the guys at the security post, even if the shot guns were a little off-putting. My girlfriend and brother stayed here for two weeks overlapping new years' day. We go there about midnight on the first day of the booking. There were two security checks to get to the condo. My reservation was not visible to the security personnel so there was a long hold up. I could not reach the property owner for them to confirm my reservation or provide real-time assistance. To the security guard's credit they were not trying to be jerks and tried to help as much as they could. I was eventually allowed in through the first and then the second gate, after encountering the same issue. Aside from that we really enjoyed our stay. I would recommend, but be aware of potential pitfalls - distance from Centro and lack of restaurant, entertainment etc nearby.

A little remote but lovely

Would be better if there was a grocery store near by as we are here for four months. Facilities are very good
