Summary:

Escape to Massanutten Acres- Tiny Timber, a handcrafted tiny home nestled in a quiet pocket of woods at foothills of Massanutten Mountain. This cozy hideaway is designed for slow mornings, starry nights, and easy access to all the adventure nearby. Whether you are sneaking away for a couples’ retreat or bringing the family for a mountain escape, it’s a calm, comfortable base to unplug, recharge, and make memories in the forest.

The Space:

Tiny Timber is a secluded tiny home tucked within 48 private acres of woodland, yet sits right on Resort Drive—just minutes from Massanutten Resort and directly across from the Massanutten Golf Course. It’s that rare balance of total privacy and unmatched convenience, where you feel like you’re in your own world while still being close enough to touch everything Massanutten has to offer.

Inside, Tiny Timber welcomes you with a warm, thoughtfully crafted space that blends comfort, nature, and modern convenience. The airy loft features a plush queen bed and a cozy nook, offering peaceful nights beneath the Massanutten Mountain canopy. Downstairs, the living area includes a full-size convertible futon, perfect for kids or extra guests, along with bar-style seating for relaxed meals or morning coffee. A mini-split heating and AC system keeps the home perfectly comfortable year-round.

Step outside onto the large outdoor deck, where the experience truly comes alive. Enjoy outdoor dining under the stars, fire up the grill for family meals, and gather around the fire pit to unwind, share stories, and soak in the peacefulness of the woods. It’s the perfect setting to bond with your partner, reconnect with your kids, and introduce them to nature—without missing out on the fun and excitement that Massanutten is known for.

Tiny Timber is a serene woodland retreat—every detail thoughtfully curated to deepen your connection with nature and with each other.

And with Massanutten Resort just minutes away, you get the best of both worlds:

- Skiing & snowboarding in winter

- The all-season indoor waterpark

- The seasonal outdoor pool & water attractions

- Hiking, ziplining & mountain biking

- Golf, mini-golf & scenic drives

- Breweries, wineries & great local restaurants

Secluded, peaceful, close to everything—Tiny Timber offers a mountain escape where you never have to choose between nature and adventure.

Getting Around:

The Property is on the foothills of Massanutten, right on the resort Drive, close to all Massanutten has to offer.

Other Things to Note:

Winter Travel: When snow is expected, please plan to use a four-wheel-drive vehicle for safe access to the tiny home.

Respecting Wildlife: The natural beauty surrounding Tiny Pine is yours to enjoy, but hunting is not permitted. This helps maintain a peaceful environment for the local wildlife that calls this area home.

Firearms- Strictly No firearms use allowed

Property Etiquette: You’re welcome to appreciate the scenic views across the 48-acre property, but please stay on the main road and avoid entering the wooded areas. There are a few other homes spread out across the land, and we kindly ask that you respect the privacy of those residences. Please do not wander near other homes or use any amenities that belong to them.

Wi-Fi / Internet Access:

This home does not offer Wi-Fi, as local internet service providers do not service this address. Many guests enjoy this as a chance to unplug, relax, and fully enjoy the surroundings. If internet access is needed, guests typically have reliable mobile service from major carriers and often tether/hotspot their devices using their cell phones — an approach many past guests have found works well.

Resort Access at Massanutten:

Our home is conveniently located just a few minutes from the main entrance, providing easy access to the resort. Please note that Massanutten Resort is open to everyone—no exclusions—and operates on a pay-as-you-go model for amenities. This means there's no mandatory resort fee included in your nightly rate; instead, you can purchase day passes for the Fitness & Rec Center, WaterPark tickets, golf, or other activities only if and when they fit your plans.

This is the standard approach for most private homes and Airbnbs in the area, allowing flexibility and cost savings. Enjoy free perks like the hiking trails and mountaintop overlook at no extra charge. (A few resort-owned condos and hotels may bundle certain passes into their rates, but that's not the case here.) For swimming options, please note that the Summer community pool is available only to MPOA ( HOA) -linked homes and not this property—however, the resort's WaterPark is easily accessible via day passes for a fun, flexible alternative.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.
