This is a large, beautiful and comfortable place right across from the pier. We loved our stay and how close we were to the beach and to shops and restaurants. Our only slight hiccup was around the check-in process. The VRBO listing said we’d get check-in instructions 3 days before, however it wasn’t until I reached out to the property manager than I was told that we’d get instructions around noon the day we were supposed to check in. I had to follow up on that day to get the instructions as well, and a question about parking went unanswered. But we had a lovely stay otherwise! One additional thing to be aware of is that the train stops just across the street so you can hear it very clearly.

This home is beautiful and in a great location. We really had no complaints about the house itself. Our only issue was the communication with the host. About four months before our stay I reached out with questions about the sleeping arrangements and was given incorrect information. A few weeks before check in they let us know they had mixed up our unit with another one and the information they gave us was wrong. I understand mistakes happen but it did put us in a difficult spot so close to our trip. They also offered us a small discount because of the mix up but we never received it even after I followed up. We also had to reach out on the day of check in because we never received the check in instructions. When we arrived the trash cans were already full so we couldn’t throw away any of our garbage during the stay. I think this home is still fairly new to VRBO and there is definitely room for improvement with communication. Overall the house itself was great but the lack of communication added unnecessary stress to what was otherwise a great vacation.
