I booked this house so that a group of high school friends could celebrate our 70th birthday together. We all grew up in Thomson and graduated from Thomson High School.This house was a perfect place for us to share memories together and visit our favorite local House was clean and well cared for. Great view of the river for watching the pelicans and watching the barges going up and down the river.

The house was clean and very nice. We had great communication with the owners. We did have difficulty with lighting the fireplace, but the owner walked us through it over the phone. The patio doors really need to be replaced and the furnace is noisy, but we did have a nice stay.

Location was great! Host supplied everything a person could need.Nearby towns to go on adventures. Fishing always an option. Galena’s downtown area is so fun. Good food wherever you go. Loved the area.
