Welcome to Sea Oats! Come and enjoy a laid back vacation at Edisto's Sea Oats Vacation Cottage. Direct Ocean front; just walkout your back door down the stairs and out onto the beach! This is a traditional H-Plan Beach Home from days gone by....but updated! All new windows, beds, bedding, appliances etc. in 2025. Two oceanfront bedrooms with queen beds and tvs. Two Palmetto Blvd. side bedrooms, one with a queen and one with 2 twins both with tvs as well. Well appointed kitchen into an open floor plan allowing all the family and friends to spend time together while cooking, watching the game on the flat large screen tv and dining. Step out onto the ocean front sun deck and take in the vast views of the Atlantic and beach. Take a stroll for miles on the beach, hunt for shells and elusive shark's teeth, take a dip in the ocean, float away your cares, watch the kids play, cook out on the grill...... the choices are all yours! Take a quick warm shower before heading back up inside in the outdoor enclosed shower.
Two full baths on either side of the house between the guest bedrooms. Stack washer and dryer is upstairs in guest bedroom 3.
Central hvac and ceiling fans throughout. The owners have also left some family games and puzzles for you to enjoy. Free Wifi internet and Roku tv service provided. Located in the 200 block so you are close to the grocery, gas, spirits store, dining establishments and more! Make Sea Oats your new Edisto Vacation Spot! Rented for full weeks in season and by the day with 3 day minimums in other seasons. No pets or smoking at Sea Oats. Linens for beds and bath towels included.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Guest Must Sign Rental Agreement. We will refund if we are able to re-rent your reserved time minus 10% PLUS Credit Card Fees. This only applies IF we
are able to re-rent for At Least the same amount you would have paid. If less, then your refund will be pro-rated accordingly.
Renter must be at least 25 years old. NO smoking in any of our homes.

Living comfortably on the beach!

Well decorated and great use of small space. Perfect for families with children that enjoy being on the beach; they can be watched from the back porch! Convenient location.

Great place!

We had a great time at this property. It's exactly as described in the listing, and everything was perfectly clean and in good working order. The location is ideal, both from a beach viewpoint and from a restaurant viewpoint, and there are a few shops within walking distance.
