We had such a great week at Seas and Trees! The house was beautiful, very clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
We traveled with our five boys, ranging in age from 1 to 17, and there was something for everyone. The younger kids loved the playroom and ball pit, while the older boys spent hours fishing and crabbing off the dock on the sound. The house even had a fishing rod and crab pots available for us to use, which was a nice bonus. We made a few trips to East Coast Sports, where the staff helped us get set up with the right fishing tackle, and we ended up catching dozens of fish right off the private dock!
The location was one of our favorite things about the property. You're only about a two minute walk from either the beach or the sound, so going back and forth throughout the day was incredibly easy. The beach was also surprisingly quiet, with hardly anyone around most days. It almost felt like we had the beach to ourselves! The neighborhood was peaceful, felt very safe, and the outdoor shower was great for rinsing off after a day at the beach.
The house itself was spacious and well stocked. The master bedroom was huge, the kitchen had everything we needed, and having a washer and dryer was especially helpful with five kids. We honestly could have brought another family along and still had plenty of room. The popcorn machine was a big hit, and playing air hockey became part of our nightly routine.
We also really enjoyed Surf City. It's a great beach town with plenty of restaurants and shops right on the island. Daddy Mac's was one of our favorite places to eat.
We made some great family memories during our stay. If you're looking for a relaxing beach vacation with plenty to keep kids of all ages entertained, Seas and Trees is a fantastic place to stay. We can't wait to come back next year!
