About this property
4 Minute Walk Downtown, Skyline View from Deck
A comfortable townhouse with sleek modern style. Within walking distance of all downtown attractions, restaurants and bars, including State Capitol building, the convention center, Trade Co. Food Hall, Marbles Kid Museum, Lincoln Theater, Red Hat Amphitheater, and Historic City Market.
Two bedrooms with queen size beds on second floor. Master bedroom has vaulted ceilings, wall to wall closet, and connects with the full bathroom. A great back deck with direct access to the Greenway park.
The space
**Please read about the neighborhood in section at bottom of page before booking**
Enjoy drinks on the deck, overlooking the Greenway and an unobstructed view of downtown as the sun goes down and the skyscrapers light up.
Wake up surrounded by green open space: oldest cemetery in Raleigh across the street, the Greenway (series of interconnecting parks) directly on your side, and a view of downtown skyline from bedroom window.
Enjoy a Keurig coffee in the morning. Go for a jog on the paved Greenway trail inches from your front door, which gives you access to over 100 miles of paved trails that make a huge loop around Raleigh through a series of interconnected parks and riverside paths. Walk 4 minutes down the aforementioned Greenway to get the most coveted bagels in Raleigh from Benchwarmers Bagels in the Trade Co Food Hall.
Rent an electric scooter (found parked around downtown) or a bike from the city bike share, and ride to nearby State Capitol to see the memorial statues. Get a drink from one of the many breweries nearby, including Bhavana Brewery and Trophy Brewing. Walk the cobblestones streets of Historic City Market. Or stay in and watch a movie.
Guest access
The entire space is yours. As it is a townhouse, it shares one wall with the neighboring townhouse. You should observe quieter hours from 10pm-8am.
Other things to note
PLEASE READ HOUSE RULES BEFORE BOOKING:
Guest/Visitor Policy:
Please make sure you are booking for the correct number of guests. Nightly rate is based on guest count, so if you need to increase your guest count after booking, the rate may increase and any price difference must be paid.
Please understand that the number of guests you booked for is the maximum number allowed to be on the property, including visitors who don't spend the night. I'm a reasonable host - I do make an exception to allow for one or two short-term visitors during your stay. You don't need to change anything or tell me if you'd like to have 1 or 2 short-term visitors (not spending the night) during your stay. This is fully allowed. But if you would like to have anymore than 2 visitors on property at any point or for additional people beyond your guest count to stay the night, you would need to ask me first and update your guest count to the correct amount. This may result in a nightly rate increase. Having additional unauthorized guests or visitors voids the rental agreement. No parties, events, or gatherings are allowed. Outdoor security cameras (can't see inside property) are used to monitor guest and pet compliance.
Pet Policy:
Pets are allowed with a $50 fee per each pet for stays of 4 nights or fewer (pet fee will be greater for stays over 4 nights so please ask before booking if you'd like to check the longer stay pet fee amount). You MUST let me know about any pets in your welcome VRBO message. *Pet fee is to be paid after booking. Pet fee is NOT included in the booking price that VRBO collects, whether or not you mark pets in the reservation.* I ask you to NOT let pets on any furniture or beds and to pick up any waste in the yard.
PLEASE READ HOUSE RULES BEFORE BOOKING”
I want guests to be able to check-in as early as possible. Due to the large amount of linens to be laundered between guests and the short amount of time do it, the washer/dryer will often have linens in them so that another load can run after cleaner leaves. You are welcome to use the washer/dryer, but will sometimes have to take out a load in order to do so. If you specifically know you will use the washer/dryer during your stay and don't want to have to do this, please let me know prior to check-in and I'll tell my cleaner to leave them empty for you.”
While you are welcome to use washer and dryer, I do NOT provide laundry detergent.
There is sometimes construction happening in the lot next to my complex of townhouses. Some weeks or months they don't come at all but I have no way of knowing so therefore, there is a possibility of constructions noises, usually from around 9am-5pm. They seem to typically not come on weekends, but they have occasionally, so I can't guarantee. One bedroom is on opposite side of house (facing the Greenway park) from the construction, so the noise is more muted there. Depending on the work they are doing, it can range from not noticeable at all to loud enough to wake up a non-heavy-sleeper in the morning. This is one of the joys of city living.
