Welcome to Your Poolside Escape.
Discover the charm of our tranquil studio, designed for relaxation and island living. Nestled beside the sparkling pool, this private retreat offers the perfect blend of mountain & ocean views. Wake up to tropical breezes, enjoy your morning coffee on the patio, or unwind with an evening swim under the stars.

The pool area shared by just a few guests, creating an intimate resort feel.
Slow down, soak up the sun, and enjoy the best of Puerto Rico’s beauty.

The space
Comfortable studio powered by solar....situated next to the pool. Queen bed with plush mattress & a sofa bed with new mattress for the children. Easy access to the covered patio. Relax in the pool, take in the mountain & ocean views, while grilling on our gas or charcoal grills. Or play a game or 2 of cornhole.
Sun-loungers for soaking in the rays, patio furniture for soaking in the mountain & valley view, while sneaking a peak at the ocean in the distance.

Guest access
Space available for the guests is within the fenced area by the pool.
* Salt water pool is shared with 1 other unit that holds up to 4 people.
*Parking areas, outside front fence

Other things to note
Since we use solar we do ask guests to conserve energy, by shutting off lights & air while they are not in the unit.
*We also have a 3,500 gallon cistern and ask that guests be mindful when we are having a water outage. We just want to ensure everyone has plenty of water.
* In case of emergencies and for any reason our solar panels & batteries are not operational we do have a generator.

If I could give a place more than five stars I would! My roommate and I stayed here for our spring break trip and the hosts were incredible and went above and beyond in every area (fast communication, delivering pastries the first day, giving numerous local recommendations, and more). They are responsive accommodating and the place itself is gorgeous and well-stocked with everything you could need (beach essentials, tons of towels, etc). Lastly, the area feels secluded while not being too far from nearby towns to be inconvenient. We cannot wait to visit again :)

Loved our stay and hope to be back! The views were amazing. The pool and outdoor space are great. The studio has everything you need and more, everything is clean and in good shape, very nicely decorated. The drive is winding but no four wheel drive needed. A short drive beaches, waterfalls, and stores/restaurants. However you may not want to leave the peaceful retreat. The host were generous in providing tons of extras like a cooler/beach supplies, snacks, even a bottle of wine. Highly recommended!!

We had such an amazing stay. I couldn’t believe the view when we arrived. Mountains and the ocean. We didn’t want to leave, but we are planning on coming back. The property is beautiful and very clean. We were pleasantly surprised that there were snacks in our unit. We hadn’t had dinner so it was great to have something to hold us over until morning. The pool was a bonus and having chairs and cooler to take to the beach helped. Kristine and Thomas are so pleasant and were the best hosts. Again, we can’t wait to make a return trip!

The lush mountain views with the ocean visible in the distance are fabulous at this idyllic VRBO complete with a salt water pool and a laundry room below. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed meeting their two friendly dogs and their somewhat reserved kitty though none ventured inside our lovely apartment which was immaculate and tastefully decorated. AC was available though we turned it off at night to be able to hear the wonderful tropical sounds via the open windows. Highly recommend this gorgeous VRBO despite needing a car to travel up a narrowish winding paved road. All felt very safe and peaceful.

The picture doesn’t do it justice. We arrived at night but what a view in the AM! Panoramic sea scape.The room was immaculate and some nice amenities like coffee for the AM and some light snack. Comfy bed. Didn’t stay long enough to use the pool but also excellent maintenance and plenty of seating.The hosts replied to all of our requests promptly and were there to meet us on site. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the area.One note, Waze won’t get you there, not sure about Google Maps. Ask for a pin drop before heading there.

from the first day driving up the mountain you knew it was going to be an awesome experience. From the views to the coqui sounds all night was just a refreshing sound to hear especially if you are coming from Ny/Nj area. When we actually got to the property there was kristien & Tom ready to greet us and also to inform us on how to access certain amenities on the property. This truly feels like you are home. Also Tom had great recommendations of your are looking for things to do or to enjoy great food. We can keep going on and on but long story short WE WILL BE BACK THE HOST ARE TRULY FAMILIA. Thank you making our anniversary vacation awesome.

Why they chose this property

Our neighborhood is set in the mountains near El Yunque. The views of the ocean and the rolling mountains is breathtaking. We our secluded however your only 15 minutes from Ceiba or Naguabo. You can see Monkey Island and Vieques from our patio......the million dollar view is what hooked us.

What makes this property unique

We offer seclusion in mountains with a salt water pool, covered patio with outdoor kitchen. Everything you need to unwind & relax.
