Newly Purchased, and fully renovated cottage is available for both Newport music festivals. Jamestown is waiting for you at this adorable 2-bedroom cottage. The entire cottage was remodeled with an entirely new kitchen with quartz countertops to wood floors. Guests will find a cozy space featuring one king bed and two twin beds, perfect for a small group or family. The bathroom includes a relaxing new bathtub, ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring. It also boasts a private outdoor shower to enjoy after a long beach day. Whether you’re curling up with a book or enjoying quiet mornings, this wonderful cottage offers a peaceful retreat. The deck is huge and will have a new table and grill. We are located in a quiet neighborhood 2.4 miles from town and walking distance to Heads beach. I offer a beach wagon, chairs and umbrella for guests to borrow. I’m a 5 star host with my other Jamestown properties; Heart of Jamestown first floor apartment, and 3rd floor suite. We hope you enjoy what our place and Jamestown has to offer.

Load the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
I appreciate that you are on vacation so you do not have to wash sheets and towels. Just strip beds and place towels in the tub.
Please remove all food. If it's unopened and you don't want it I will donate it to the food pantry. Place all trash in the barrels.
My check out time is strict at 11am. The door lock will reset so please plan accordingly.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

I love meeting people and giving them an opportunity to enjoy our beautiful island beaches, restaurants, Newport ferry, Art center, playground and more. I'm a 5 star host because I want my rentals to be better than any hotel or other rental. I only use high quality products; sheets, blankets, towels. Everything inside is brand new this year! I've gone so far as to trademark my name, Heart of Jamestown so I can stand out and give peace of mind to my guests that I'm not some fly by night host.
Why they chose this property
I have two other properties on VRBO Heart of Jamestown first floor apartment and also 3rd floor suite that are within my large 3 family home in the heart of town. This property offers a different vibe. It's a stand alone home, on a quiet road with lots of privacy, large deck and all the amenities. It's only 2.4 miles from town and a few blocks from Heads Beach. It has an outdoor shower and large deck for relaxing and grilling. The back yard is fenced on two sides.
What makes this property unique
EVERYTHING IS BRAND NEW! I just bought this property in August 2026. My builder assisted in new plaster, wood floors, brand new kitchen cabinets and countertops, entirely new bathroom. Then on the outside we placed new siding, and deck. We put mini splits in every room for your comfort. We are going to add plants and reseed the back yard in early Spring! So come and enjoy all that is new!!
