Gorgeous Views, Just Minutes From First Beach!

This house really is a dream vacation home for families. There is plenty of space for everyone and so many places to relax and make memories together.
There are two bedrooms on the first floor, both with an adjacent full bathroom. There is a master suite on the second floor, as well as an awesome bunk room that the kids are sure to love! There is a bathroom in the bunk room with a bath for the little ones. The basement has a ping pong table, as well as buckets of lawn toys because you will most definitely need them to play on the football field sized lawn in the backyard! This house has a great grilling area and the accordion window allows you to pass items and food easily from kitchen to grill. There is a covered patio if you prefer to be out of the sun, and there are also two decks for you to relax on with a cup of coffee or a cocktail. The fire pit is wood burning and perfect for roasting marshmallows!
First Beach is just one mile away from this property, which makes beach days fun and easy. We do have beach chairs for your use!
Sorry, we do NOT permit large gatherings such as rehearsal dinners, lobster bakes, or after wedding brunches. We do however love to have large families and groups of friends who are looking to enjoy the nearby beaches, the history of the area, the fun of downtown Newport, and most of all, being together.

Amazing House & Location

We had such a great time at this house. 5 stars but the only minor issue was there were wasps outside so we couldn’t spend too much time on the deck. The bunk beds were extremely comfortable for adults. We highly recommend this house!

Best Girls Weekend!

This property is absolutely stunning and the perfect spot for my girls weekend! It is only a 10 minute drive to downtown Newport and has plenty of beds and bathrooms for a good sized group! Highly recommend!

Wow! Great place for a vacation

Spacious, clean, wonderful property for a family retreat/vacation. The backyard was perfect for our frisbee and fitness fun. The property manager and the owners were very communicative and customer service was great.

Beautiful Coastal Home

This was a clean, comfortable, and beautiful home located close to downtown Newport, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Beds were comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked and overall a wonderful place to stay with friends or family.

We had 8 adults and everyone had a great time with plenty of space. The property is even larger than it looks in the pictures. Everything was clean and nicely updated, esp the bathrooms. Terrific location too. Many close restaurants.No complaints. Highly recommend Highly recommended

We lived in New York our entire lives, but we fell in love with Newport the first time we visited and knew very quickly that this was where we wanted to build our future. Our attachment to Newport goes back for years. We got engaged under the stars at Castle Hill, and we recently moved to Portsmouth to raise our family on this beautiful island. We purchased The Barn in the summer of 2014 and quickly started renovations on this once dairy barn. This home has a unique blend of old and modern that we just adore. When designing it we took into consideration all of the needs of a large family, young and old, vacationing under one roof together! We hope you love this home as much as we do.
