A cosy and modernly furnished, non-smoking holiday apartment on the upper floor for up to 4 people in a quiet yet central location near the lake (Ihler Meer). The apartment is bright and cheerfully decorated and surrounded by lush greenery. Through the separate entrance, you’ll reach a small hallway, from which a staircase leads to the upper floor. The holiday rental is on the right; you enter through a second door and step directly into the large living/dining room with a built-in kitchen and access to the balcony. From the living/dining room, you’ll find the bathroom to the left and the two bedrooms to the right. From the balcony, you can enjoy a great view of the garden and the expansive landscapes of East Frisia. There is a large playground for children at the nearby Ihler Meer. You’re welcome to relax on the large lawn at the back of the garden. An ideal holiday destination for families with children! The surrounding area offers a wide range of recreational and cultural activities, and anglers will also find plenty to enjoy here. The nearby canals are teeming with fish.



Ihlow and the surrounding area



Ihlow is located in the heart of East Frisia, right between Emden, Aurich, and Leer, and offers excellent conditions for boat and bike tours along the Wieken (waterways). Fishing opportunities are available in the nearby canals. A 3.5-hectare man-made swimming lake with a 4,000-square-meter non-swimmer area and the 350-hectare Ihlow State Forest invite you to swim, hike, and explore.

Numerous recreational activities await you: Swimming in the Ihler Meer, cycling, canoeing, boat tours, hiking, a fitness trail around the Ihler Meer, a beach volleyball court, fishing in the surrounding canals, outdoor swimming pools in Aurich and Riepe, sports fields, shopping in Aurich, a Kneipp foot bath, a trekking hut for cyclists, a multipurpose hall for sports and events, a community centre with seminar and conference rooms, tennis, Boßeln, horseback riding, the Guest House, a fitness centre with a sauna, and a beer garden with a summer beach café.
