Overall the stay was pleasant. However, for the price, I expected a few things that were not available. Because we stayed in the guest house in the basement, the house had a mold/dirt like smell. The rooms needed to be properly aired out before our arrival. Also, the temperature outside was relatively cold in the 40’s and the room was very cold and took a while to warm up after we raised the thermostat to 68 degrees.

This was a lovely guest suite in a beautiful home. It is extremely spacious. It has two dining room rooms a large bedroom, and a living room area. However, it does not actually have a kitchen. This was not a problem for us because we weren’t planning to cook, but it should be noted.
For us, the location was perfect because we were visiting Princeton and it literally is just a few minutes from town.
We were met by a young man who was probably the son of the host on the night we arrived -because we arrived quite late, and it was dark- and shown to our space. That was the only interaction we had with the host even though we were in their home. So we had all the privacy we could want.
It was a good place to stay.
