The host was great. We had a little issue with the door keypad upon arrival, and he answered the phone right away and helped solved the problem right away. Overall, the property was very nice and in a beautiful area, as is posted. The 2 down sides I'd say include the kitchen and the cleanliness. For the kitchen, it just wasn't stocked with some of the basic kitchen needs, i.e. a fry pan (the only pan was cast iron which unless you know how to use is so challenging to use) and few of the smaller items. Had I known this it would have been easy to pack and plan ahead. The house was what I'd say, "surface clean". It wasn't out right dirty or gross by any means, but it had a feeling of undertone unclean. I should state that this is our first rental that we've brought our animal, so that could just be because other people and their animals where there prior to us (and everyone's level of "clean" with animals is different and I will say mine is on the higher side for cleanliness). Other the property was great. There was a hidden small ninja area for my kids to play on. I'd say if you have older kids, it would be boring for younger elementary age kids it was great. There was also a small nature walk just across the road which was a HUGE hit for my dog and our family. Another added plus was there were a fair amount of childern toys there. We did not pack many at all but we didnt need anything for my 3 younger kids to play with which was an added bonus.
