Escape to this charming 3-bedroom, 2-bath Hocking Hills retreat where rustic character meets modern comfort. Nestled in a peaceful, wooded setting, Buck Run Cottage offers the perfect place to relax, reconnect, and recharge after exploring all that the area has to offer.

Enjoy high-speed Wi-Fi, Spectrum TV, and smart flat-screen TVs in every bedroom for added convenience during your stay. The spacious primary suite features a queen bed and a private bathroom complete with a garden tub, separate shower, and double sinks.

After a day of hiking at nearby Hocking Hills attractions, cozy up by the wood-burning fireplace (available September–March) or soak in the private hot tub while taking in views of the yard from the elevated deck. Gather around the outdoor fire pit, unwind under the stars, and create lasting memories in your own secluded retreat.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Gather used towels and linens and place them in the laundry baskets and strip beds that were used (leave comforters folded on the beds).
Seal all trash in provided bags and place in the dumpster at the end of the driveway at the end of your stay. Properly dispose of cigarette butts and any outdoor debris belonging to you.
Please leave the cabin in "broom clean" condition. Wash and put away all dishes. Clear and wipe kitchen counters, tables and refrigerator. Return furnishings to their original position.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please be considerate of all guests on the property and observe quiet hours from 11pm to 9am.
Pets must be on a leash, always kept with owners, and are not to be allowed on bedspreads, blankets, or furniture. Towels and linens are not for pets.

This property was great and had everything we needed for our long weekend. The house had plenty of space and we enjoyed the fire pit in the backyard. Would definitely stay here again in the future!

Nice and cozy all while being spacious. Communication was easy and there were informational guides for the expectation of your stay and the nearby sights. It’s also close to all the hiking trails AND to Walmart and restaurants and yet, you’re still hidden away. It was great!

We had a great stay and would definitely consider booking again! The location was excellent and made it easy to enjoy everything the area had to offer. The price was very reasonable, especially for everything the home included. It was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay, and the house was comfortable for both our family and our dogs, which was a huge plus. The host was also fantastic—communication was prompt, friendly, and helpful from start to finish. Overall, a wonderful experience, and we’d happily recommend this property to others.

We have always enjoyed visiting Hocking Hills as a place to rest, relax and recharge from the daily grind, bonus we could bring our pets. This property by chance came into our pathway and we seized the opportunity to take the chance. Although we have a very unique story, we find this property offers the perfect blend of nature, privacy, and convenience.

Acorn Ridge Retreat offers a unique hilltop retreat experience in the heart of Hocking Hills. Our cabins/cottages combine historic charm, modern comforts, and peaceful wooded surroundings. Thoughtfully spaced for privacy yet conveniently located near area attractions. We are approximately 8 miles from Old Man's Cave and 2 miles from Lake Logan. Acorn Ridge Retreat offers easy access to the best hiking, nature, and attractions in Hocking Hills while still providing a peaceful hilltop retreat.

Buck Run stands out for its rare blend of privacy, comfort, and authentic Hocking Hills charm. We love the peaceful hillside setting surrounded by trees, glowing sunset views, and multiple outdoor spaces, including a spacious deck, patio with hot tub, and fire pit.
