Ground Level One bedroom apartment in quiet up & coming residential neighborhood 4 blocks from Ocean Park beach. Easy access to Old San Juan and within walking distance to Condado. The 1 bedroom is one of two units that we manage for short-term vacation rental on our property. For additional info on the other property and reviews check vrbo #893217

The apartment is a freestanding structure on a property that houses other apartments that we live or manage. The apartment is completely equipped, it has a Queen size bed and plenty of closet space. The kitchen includes all essentials, including beach towels for you to take to the beach. We also provide WiFi and basic Cable. Air Conditioner provided at both the bedroom and living room.

The adjacent Loiza street is undergoing a resurgence thanks to the establishment of a new wave of restaurants and shops including a 24 hour convenience store. It also provides access to buses to take you to Old San Juan, Isla Verde, etc. You can easily walk to the Condado Center.

About Old San Juan:
Places and monuments emphasized in tourism campaigns include: Old San Juan, promoting the historic nature of its colonial buildings and narrow streets covered by adoquine, a blue stone cast from furnace slag; they were brought over as ballast on Spanish ships. This includes the city's ancient defensive wall and forts, most notably El Morro and the Castle of San Cristóbal. On January 23, 1984 both of these edifices were catalogued as being part of humanity's cultural patrimony.

Wonderful place off the beaten path but accessible

Loved our stay here, had everything we needed and the host was wonderful! Spent a very short week here and were able to easily walk or uber to any day adventures, and come back here to a quieter residential neighborhood. Host was so lovely with info but not in the least bit overbearing. I would highly recommend this property and absolutely stay here again.

Loved this little place

We had such a nice time in Puerto Rico for 11 days. Eduardo and his wife were so helpful giving up tips on where to go and for the best beaches to snorkel. We were able to walk to dinner at a different spot from our place. We were in a quiet neighborhood and felt like locals in the heart of Puerto Rico.

A great home away from home. I was here for work, so my days were occupied from 8 to 4 or 5. The apartment was the perfect size for 1-2 people (I was traveling alone, but could easily see myself sharing the space with my spouse. The location was perfect; it was close to restaurants, a supermarket, the laundromat, and the beach. After a long day, I could spend the evenings by the beach, watching the sunset or the volleyball players. It is near enough to the highway, so there was always an Uber 3-5 minutes away. Finally, you could not ask for more attentive hosts than Eduardo and Beatriz. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful place

My boyfriend and I loved our stay at this property. We planned the trip a little last min and were delighted to find that the property was a couple blocks away from Cafe Regina, a recommendation that a friend from San Juan had given me. It was only a couple blocks further to the beach, and a reasonable walk to many other areas (we’re New Yorkers, though, so we walk a lot already). Great communication, wonderful flexibility; hoping to visit again soon (I was a bit under the weather the whole trip so we didn’t get to do everything we’d hoped to) and would definitely stay here again.

Great lil apartment!

The loveliest casita en San Juan

I loved staying at the casita, close to the beach, calle Loiza and most of my friends who live in Santurce. Eduardo and his spouse were amazing hosts, helpful and warmth in all interactions with me and making me feel super welcome throughout my stay. This site is a hidden gem, has everything one needs, and I hope to come back to visit really soon again!

Work vacation

Very tranquil n safe neighborhood near all including the beach. Was there to renovate my house and was the perfect location for a restful night, couldn't hear a pin drop. Strongly recommend a stay here, owners on premises n attentive to all. Top notch cleanliness.

San Juan Delbrey

I simply had a wonderful and relaxing time. It was mostly beach and eating and walking about, but I really needed the break. I loved the quiet apartment. It had everything I needed. I kept finding thoughtful touches: beach chairs and towels, umbrella, cute friendly dog. The bed was comfortable. The privacy was much appreciated. Really good place in a lovely part of the city.

Great stay

Eduardo is an amazing host. He was so helpful and gave us great advice and recommendations for places to eat and visit. The casita was clean and the location great. The area might look a bit rough, but it felt very safe for us walking at night. Parking is on the street, so we recommend to rent a small car for easier parking. At night in the casita, you can hear animal noises like bird/tropical noises (very common of PR), but when you get inside the room, close the windows and turn on the air and the amazing fan the bedroom has, you can barely hear them, plus the bed was comfy. We’ll definitely stay there again.

A great week in Ocean Park!

We truly enjoyed our stay with Eduardo and his family. We were in apartment E, which is a standalone little casita. We loved it. The apartment was clean, well equipped as listed, comfortable, and decorated with style. It felt like someone’s little home and not just a rental. It is convenient to grocery stores, pharmacies, bars, and restaurants all on or near Calle Loiza. We ate out for lunch and dinner for a week and never had a bad meal! We could have easily cooked in the apartment, but we were having too much fun exploring all the neighborhood had to offer. We walked to everything and always felt safe—even after dark (we’re in our 60’s). We used Uber to go into Old San Juan for less than $10 (plus a cash tip). We took a taxi from the airport for $22 and an Uber back to the airport when we left for $11. I highly recommend this apartment and would stay there again 100%. Susan

Our stay at Eduardo's place was all in all very nice. Our apartment was small and cozy and in an average San Juan neighborhood. Nothing fancy, but clean and just right for my husband and me. We cooked several meals and had all the supplies we needed in the kitchen, the bed was comfortable, the property is secure with a locked gate to get in and out. The owners have also provided a washer/dryer outside for guests' use (free of charge but provide your own detergent) which was an added bonus. We walked or Uber'd everywhere the first week to explore the area. Large grocery store about 8 blocks away and several restaurants depending on the direction you go. Perfect to try something new. Beach is about a 5 block walk and seemed to be always windy when we went but apparently earlier in morning it's nicer. A car is really needed to explore other parts of the island and everything seems to be fairly long drive so it may be a good idea to stay at different areas if you're staying for a longer time to better explore the island and all that Puerto Rico offers.

Great stay

Our stay at this property was nice. The accuracy of the listing was correct. Price point was great. The owner stays on the property in their own apartment. We maybe saw the owner 3-4 times during our 7 night stay. It was quiet and we had nothing bad to say. It's nice and convenient walk a few blocks up to the beach. We also found an awesome cafe 3 blocks over. Parking can be hit or miss because it's street parking but we were lucky every night to get parking fairly close nightly. We enjoyed our stay and looking forward to going back.
